Featured in Vacation Rental Travels Magazine as THE home to choose for when staying in Austin. I respond immediately! Prices for special events such as SXSW, ACL, or Formula 1 are higher.

Don't be fooled by other homes saying they are "in the heart of South Congress" yet are far away. No other home is closer to SOCO than my home. Check out my reviews who state such. Do you want to walk 50 steps to Congress or 1000? I have a large covered deck in the back yard with a table and seating, a grill, and hammock. I also have a 55 inch HDTV with HBO and SHOWTIME. You will not be disappointed in this home! It has so much to offer and is THE closest 3 BR home to South Congress!.....

What makes my home different from others?

1) LOCATION - you don't need a car, so much is walkable. There is not another home more conveniently located to SOCO than mine. The home is 1 block to Congress to so many restaurants and shopping. No need to worry about cabs and other hassles when you will be in the middle of the most popular part of town.

2) FREE PARKING AT FRONT DOOR - no need to park a half mile away or pay for parking when you can park at my front door. other homes do not have this amenity.

3) SERVICE - I meet each group at the home to make sure you get settled in and answer any questions. I also provide each group a map of an aerial view of the home in relation to the many restaurants to walk to as well as provide a written list of those restaurants and what makes them popular so the group can know what restaurants they want to try.

4) AMENITIES - 55 & 32 inch HDTV's, high speed internet, comfortable beds, spacious living room, kitchen, and outside covered deck with seating for 8, and an iHome to listen to your favorite music.

5) PRIVACY - fenced in front and back yards so you won't be bothered.

6) CLEANLINESS - the home will very clean when you arrive with towels and soap on the beds.

This 1500 sq/ft home with hardwood floors is TRULY in the HEART of the South Congress District. Other ads state they are in the heart of SOCO yet are far away. This home IS in the heart of the most popular area of Austin. Located 1 block off South Congress every possible attraction of SOCO is literally less than a 3 minute walk. With so many stores for shopping, restaurants, and music venues within walking distance, there is no shortage of things to do. Go kayaking or jog at Town Lake or hang out Downtown. Both are only 1 mile away..... If you want to stay in, watch TV on a 55-inch HDTV with lots of movies on DVR, HBO, Showtime, and Starz and enjoy coffee with my Keurig coffee maker.

FREE PARKING - No car is needed because everything is within a short walk and the bus stop is also only 2 blocks away to go downtown. However, if you do have a car, 3 FREE PARKING PASSES are offered with your stay. Park right outside your front door and tour Austin without having the hassle of paying for parking. There are very few blocks with residential parking, but this street has it and it is ULTRA convenient. There is NO home more in the center of SOCO than this home!!! You will not be disappointed in this location.

Have a drink at San Jose Hotel's Courtyard or the many other places to cool off

Great & Cozy House and Fabulous Location!

My husband and 3 teenage daughters met at this home for 4 days at Thanksgiving and a wonderful time was had! The home provided all things we needed to cook up a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and a lovely table. There is plenty of seating for the whole family in all the important places. The kitchen island is large and with stools, so all were able to congregate there. The living room couch was large and comfy and provided great space to connect. All linens we needed were provided. The location is really awesome because so many shops and fantastic restaurants are within a block and a half away, but you do not hear any busy-ness/traffic from this home. It is an adorable, safe-feeling neighborhood. We highly recommend this home for your Austin stay. We loved it and the owner was terrific to work with. A great time!!

Nice little home - a perfect stay

If location in Austin is your thing, you can't beat this one - one block from South Congress Central, with restaurants and music and conveniences within easy walking. Don't let the modest appearance in front fool you, this was a very roomy stay. Furnishings were great, all the convenieces, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Chad was very helpful and our stay was perfect.

Great place to stay in Austin

Lovely, well equipped house in a great location. Walkable to dozens of restaurants, stores and clubs. Downtown and parks within easy reach. You wont need a car to get around. Lyft rides just about anywhere are under $10. House is nicely furnished, clean and well equipped. The owner, Chad, takes a lot of pride in making things easy for the guests.

Right In The SoCo Action!!!

This was a perfect house for our ACL 2017 Adventure!

This house is literally one block off of South Congress, which seemed like the hot spot to be in Austin. We walked to grab food from several different restaurants during our stay, which was always delicious, and very convenient. Although we did not hit up any of the local bar scene, we seemed to be in the right spot for that had we wanted to.

The owner, Chad, was professional, polite, and helpful throughout the entire process. He met us at the house upon check-in to welcome us, show us around his house, and fill us in on the local area. He even had maps, and lists of his favorite spots printed out for us, which was very thoughtful. Upon leaving, he swung by to see us off.

The property isn't fancy, but was clean, and well maintained. A perfect layout for our group of four adults (one couple), having two queen sized beds, and one king. This was way better than any hotel option we could have come up with. We spent most of our time (while not at ACL) lounging in the large living room, gathered around the kitchen bar eating, or having a morning coffee on the back deck. While there were some of the owners personal items in the house, they were mostly put away, and really no issue for any of us.

Overall, it was a great experience, and we will more than likely be reaching back out to Chad for future festivals or Formula 1 races in the future!

Exactly what we needed!

6 adults stayed. Wonderful location and home owner. Single car garage off the street and parking passes for the street parking which is important in this area. Convenient to everything. Comfortably furnished. We hope to return.
