About this property
Private Apartment on Historic Farmstead
About this space
We live in a pre-Civil War farmhouse on a two-acre plot of land. There is also a barn-like garage on property and that's where our guest house is located (on the 2nd floor). We're near parks, restaurants, shopping, the airport, 5 mins to downtown Wake Forest, 20 mins to downtown Raleigh and 25 mins to Durham. Our will make you feel like a breath of fresh air.
The space
The guest house is located above the garage and feels like a cabin in the tree-tops. The bathroom is on the first level, right as you walk in but the sleeping quarters, living room and full kitchen (no dishwasher) is up in the tree tops on the 2nd floor. The space is also where we house our pool table - feel free to play a few games and if you're traveling for work, you can use the desk. There is a queen bed, queen futon and queen sleeper-sofa. There's also laundry facilities in the tool room, inside the garage, to which you'll have access.
Guest access
You have the full run of the guest house and the adjoining patio, plus the yard (which you'll have to share with our Irish Setter - he will come for a visit if you're out). We offer self-check-in and we'll provide you with instructions on how to access the space once you've booked and your reservation is drawing near.
Other things to note
Check in at 3:00; check at out 11:00.
