Teeny Home in the Black Hills!

UPDATE: CUSTER COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA FIREWORKS BAN
Due to the extreme drought in the area, resulting in fire danger, the Custer County Commissioners passed a Resolution on 3-13-26 to ban all private fireworks in Custer County.
MAY-SEPT, ONE OR TWO PEOPLE, Pet Friendly.
Includes Roku, Netflix, Disc+, WiFi, electric, water, sewer, garbage
Teeny Home is an 8x22 STUDIO CABIN, with a standard size murphy bed. (Two guests max).
There is a wrap around deck with a small grille, and also a graveled area with a picnic table and a Solo Stove for campfires (wood provided).
Teeny is 8 miles NW of Custer on a gravel road. Teeny is 100 feet from Tiny Home with a privacy fence between the two homes. The total property is 8 acres.
The US Forest is just through a gate near the cabin.
The yard is peaceful and private with a private access.
There are stairs to access the cabin. The property borders US Forest Service .

This was a perfect place for us to use as our base to explore the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Badlands areas. The easy access to Custer State Park and Black Hills Forest National Park were convenient for our explorations. Seeing deer on the property in the evening and the morning were very comforting. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a great place to rest after exploring the great South Dakota areas.

Wonderful place to stay.

Peaceful place to stay. Love that it is in the country. Clean and has a very comfortable bed. Nice deck for coffee and a sunrise.

A beautiful stay

The teeny home was a great stay for us. Our dog had a blast running through all the beautiful land around us and was fascinated by seeing horses. 10/10 stay.

Gorgeous surrounding! Peaceful, restful, perfect for us and our dogs! Off the beaten path, but yet a great central location for many day trips to places from Spearfish to Hot Springs. We loved the wrap around porch, and spent lots of time out there. Attentive, wonderful hosts!

Quiet mountain retreat

This was as advertised and conveniently located near Custer, Crazy Horse, and Mt. Rushmore. Reasonable accommodations for the price and the owner was quick to check in by text although my phone did not work while I was there due to lack of coverage.

The teeny cabin is perfect for 1-2 guests. The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware, plenty of bed linens and pillows, bathroom is nicely stocked with good towels. Lots of free wood and fire starter stuff to enjoy our outside cool nights. Very private yet close to Hill City and Black Elk Mt. It was nice to catch the Stanley Cup Finals on their Roku Tv and enjoy the covered front porch decorated with a string of Edison bulb lights! Thank you for the memories!!

Teeny Home

The Teeny home was perfect for me and my husband. We had our dogs too. They loved the open space to roam. We had everything we needed...grill, deck and patio to eat on, kitchen and utensils comfy bed, wi fi, Netflix for the rainy nights, ...it was clean and cute! 100% will stay again!

The teeny home was a great home away from home ! The deck was perfect to watch the sunrise. There was ample wood for a bonfire and our black lab Jackson loved all the open and for the most part fenced in land. The Murphy bed was easy to set up as well as being comfortable. The location was very convenient with the sites that we wanted to see. Host was very timely with communication. Would definitely recommend ! 10/10

This place was fun! I woke up to wildlife and peace and quiet. There is another property where you can see their horses too. Great location. It was 6 miles from everything to do. Custer and Hill City are charming towns. Hiked every day and the lakes were beautiful too. No complaints and will be back.
