We live in Los Angeles and get down to P.V as much as possible. We can't get enough of that view.
Gabriela purchased this House in 2007
Why Gabriela chose South Shore Hotel Area
We fell in love with Puerto Vallarta on our first trip in 2006. We decided to buy a house a few months later and spotted the For Sale sign for Villa Delfin on a palm tree when we were passing in a boat. We love this place and get here as much as we can. We also like other people to share our wonderful experiences being at the Villa.
What makes this House unique
The most relaxing place. Many hours can be spent on the 300sq ft terrace watching nature, dipping in the solar heated pool and sipping wonderful Margaritas prepared by our staff with home made chips and guacamole. We are on a cliff overlooking the Banderas Bay , 180 degrees of unobstructed blue ocean and the most amazing and romantic sunsets. NOTE: THE PROPERTY IS ON A CLIFF , HAS LOTS OF STAIRS AND OPEN WROGHT IRON RAILING . IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN, PERSONS WITH DIFFICULTIES CLIMBING STAIRS. ALSO POOL IS NOT FENCED , WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Perfect getaway in PV!
We loved Villa Delfin! The location of the house is incredible, being right on the water, and as some other reviews have mentioned, the place is somehow actually even nicer than the pictures appear.
The house has unbelievable views of the ocean, and all of the bedrooms have private balconies that also open to an ocean view. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, etc., and we honestly did not have a single complaint with the house.
Carmela, the housekeeper/chef, was really fantastic as well. She was a great cook, and was incredibly accommodating, making multiple meals for us that were not on the official menu. She actually has a room in the house that she stays in, which we didn't know going in, but she was always very respectful about giving us space, and that wasn't a problem at all.
The place is about 35 minutes from the airport, and 10-15 minutes into town, but it's easy to get a cab there. If you ever want to leave the house, Carmela will help order a cab too, and we didn't have any problems there.
Finally - we also decided to go out on a boat with Carmela's son, Carlos, and had a great time. Carlos was awesome, and we were basically just able to tell him what we were hoping to do (snorkeling, grab lunch, find a place just relax in the sun etc.) and he made it happen.
All in all, we had a great trip, and would highly recommend this place.
Best Vacation We’ve Ever Had
If you are looking for beautiful views, serene atmosphere, and 5 star meals you will love it here. My husband and I stayed 7 days and both decided it was our best trip to date (and we travel quite often). Carmela is the chef and housekeeper and she silently anticipates our every need while preparing and serving delicious meals. Her son Carlos took us on an all day sightseeing/fishing/snorkeling trip and it was perfect. We could either take the public bus or Uber into PV quite easily, so we took some time to go shopping, walked the boardwalk, enjoyed a spa day, went to an English church service and even got a foot massage on the beach. We always looked forward to coming “home “ to Carmela’s meals and margaritas, a clean room, and a beautiful view. We hope to come back soon!
You'll like it here!
We just spent 9 days here being spoiled by Carmella. She cooked breakfast and dinner each day. Beautiful, quiet setting and a wonderful place to relax. Her son Juan Carlos took us sightseeing in his boat and it was awesome! Everything and everyone was top notch, down to Juans spotless boat. We felt very comfortable in a foreign country with these people. Thanks for the memories ❤️
Perfect vacation, amazing place to stay!
The house and location are great, away from the busier areas yet close enough to anything you could want. All three bedrooms have great views of the ocean but as it was just two of us we only used the top bedroom. The view from the patio is amazing and having the pool there to cool off is very handy. We mostly stayed at the house but did arrange for two boat rides with Carmela’s son. Those two trips were money well spent.
The most important feature of the house was Carmela. She made our trip perfect in every way. The best food and margaritas we have ever had! Such a sweet lady and incredibly helpful. We miss her already and look forward to coming back, this place is great!!
So peaceful and beautiful and Carmela and Chui are the best!
Amazing villa on the quiet coast in Mismaloya
VIlla Delfin is a spectacular property along a very quiet stretch of the Puerto Vallarta coast. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta, and we were concerned with the traffic and noise when we were driving from the airport and through Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Once we left Puerto Vallarta behind and headed to Mismaloya, the natural beauty of this region became apparent. Villa Delfin is located directly on the coast, and far from the resorts. Upon entering the villa, we were greeted by Carmela, the resident housekeeper, chef, and the soul of the villa. Carmela is not only an amazing chef (no need to eat out with Carmela in the kitchen), she anticipated our every need and treated us like family. We quickly settled into the villa, which is even more beautiful than depicted in the photos. The doors remained open in our bedrooms throughout our stay with the crashing waves and parade of sea birds our constant entertainment. We can't wait to return, and unwind in this very special retreat with the amazing Carmela!
Vila Delfin is situated on a cliff overlooking Banderas Bay. Nature in the area is spectacular. We have been lucky enough to see dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, cangrejos (land crabs), humpback whales and a huge variety of birds, all from the terrace. Mismaloya Beach is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Los Arcos the islands close offshore are a marine reserve and provide great snorkelling. Carmella's son Juan Carlos has a boat and does boat trips.
