The cabin lived up to its description. Even though there are other cabins nearby, it was quiet and felt private during the middle of the week. For me, it was a good place to just relax and read a book on the back porch, while listening to the river not too far away.
We had a lovely stay at this forest cabin. We ended up being there during a hot and smoky time, but the house stayed nice and cool, and the HEPA filter I brought along kept the indoor air quality nice and.breathable. The house was comfortable and filled with light, and everything was as expected. A baby gate was provided to block off the upstairs loft if you need to do so for small children or pets. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. My only recommendation would be to bring your own cooking oil as there was none in the pantry. Lots of spices though!
