We enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Mazama! The beds were comfortable, and our corner room had windows on two walls that allowed for a very nice view. Mazama is located close to a multitude of hiking and viewing opportunities in the North Cascades, so that was great. The room was very clean, the bathroom was logically laid out and the shower was great. We did not try the hot tub. My one issue was with the property description. Although the property was advertised as a one bedroom (not a studio or a hotel room), it was simply a moderately sized hotel room. That was disappointing. The description said that there was a "kitchenette", but there was no kitchen or dining utensils or a small sink. However, the description did say that there was a community kitchen available for our use and we did take advantage of that. It was located about a hundred yards away from our room, which made it inconvenient to carry food back and forth. Part of this issue was my fault, in that I should have reviewed the photos more closely. I would have seen the discrepancy between the photos and the description. All in all, though, we adjusted to the room, and we had a very enjoyable experience, and I would recommend staying there as long as one understood that the description didn't match up well with the room.
This was a perfect alternative stay to our normal camping trip to Mazama. We love being close to the glorious store and trails. The pool was a pleasant surprise for us. Very relaxing and beautifully landscaped. We will stay again!
What a beautiful place. The staff was great and the accommodations were so comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Had a slight issue at checkin but it was taken care of quickly and with the customer (me) in mind. We will definitely be back if in the area!
This was a perfect spot to touch down for a bit of cross country skiing. The room was small but cozy and in a different time there would be a hot tub and communal areas. The breakfast at the Inn was delicious and set us up for a big day. We’ll be back!
