Great place nice little cabin perfect for two people trying to have a nice weekend in the Pines. Only the issue is the neighbors dogs and their excessive barking, kind of ruins the mood. Other than that a great place, clean, nice little cabin and beautiful porch and friendly and communicative host

Affordable Short Stay

Just a short trip but affordable and relaxing. Location is in a very peaceful neighborhood and close to both Showlow and Pinetop-Lakeside

The stay itself wasn't great. We give that 1 star. A/C didn't work properly, bed felt like padded plywood. Pillows not great. A bunch of what I believe to be black wood ants. The "cabin" isn't secluded. It's in a neighborhood with close neighbors. Has a broken down camper right beside it. There is no "living room". The couch was quite literally against the tv to give room to walk in the door. A neighboring dog that will constantly bark if anything moves in the cabin or anywhere around it. Pictures are deceiving.That said, I understand that some of these isssues are just opinion and maybe circumstantial. My wife and i got zero sleep so we left early. The owner kindly and without conflict reimbursed half of our stay (originally a 2 night stay). Would WE stay there again? No. Do we very much appreciate the response times and kindness of our host? ABSOLUTELY!
