This was the second time our family had stayed at one of Ty & Olivia’s places. Again the house was super-clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. As a big bonus, the homes put us within walking distance of Nokomis Beach. We will be back next Winter!

Everything was great! My two things to improve on would be more places to hang towels in the bathroom and the second bedroom kind of smelled like the garage. Would definitely stay here again. Loved all the beach stuff and plenty of outdoor space!

Lovely house near the beach

We had a great stay in this house, it was super comfortable and very well equipped. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The Perfect Beach House

The hosts were amazing, and the communication was great. The house is fully supplied with everything you could need, and even had the essentials that we forgot! The location is walking distance to the beach and restaurants/bars. We will definitely stay there again, and I highly recommend it!

Revitalize

Enjoyed the property & its close location to Nokomis Beach which is an easy walk. Quiet neighborhood. Had plenty of beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc for your use which was appreciated. Easy access to downtown Venice or up to Sarasota. Perfect accommodation for a couple or 2 person stay. We will be back again as the hosts were very helpful & responsive.

Delightfully Charming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We came for a restful stay and found just that! The cottage and all of its 900 square feet is beautifully decorated and every inch used wisely. The home is situated in a very quiet neighborhood and is just a short walk to the beach. We highly recommend!

Great spot with lots of outdoor spaces.

The house has lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy the lovely area. Amenities for the beach were greatly appreciated and everything was nice and clean. Hosts were quick and friendly to respond. Nokomis beach is a quick walk across a bridge and it’s paradise. Loved it!

5 week retreat to warmth and outdoor fun

Loved the palms and foliage that surrounded the grounds. Plenty of space to relax outside and inside. The glass block created a retro bright living space. Beds were very comfortable and the neighbors were kind and quiet. Walk to beach for yoga, drum circle and even hula hoop and ukulele lessons. Ty and Olivia were very responsive and nice total with. U Hope to return!

Charming cottage by the Sea

Adorable cottage near the beach and intercoastal that has been renovated but hasn’t lost the old Florida charm. Favorite features are the wood stained ceilings, original cabinetry in the kitchen and courtyard surrounding the property. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Property included many extras including coffee and filters, condiments, laundry soap, bath supplies , beach towels and accessories. We will definitely book again if the property is available.

Fall in Florida is like…. 🌅💛

From submitting our first payment to shutting the door one last time to head home; everything was absolutely perfect! There was great communication and check-ins from Ty from beginning to end to ensure our stay was nothing short then amazing. The pictures and description of this home is exactly as stated. We loved being able to take the short walk to Nokomis public beach and to Pops Sunset Grill. A short drive to so many other must see places like the north jetty, sharkys pier, downtown Venice and Venice public beach (I recommend joining in on the local volleyball games on Wednesday at Thursday evenings!) The owners have thought of everything to make your stay in Nokomis one that will leave a mark on your heart forever.

Relaxing Vibes in Nokomis (Near Casey Key)

This was our first time staying in a VRBO. We were thrilled with the location and the privacy of the front and back patios. The amenities were excellent in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room. The bedrooms were in excellent and clean condition. Note, you do need to walk through one bedroom to enter the other bedroom. Each set of light switches is labeled, which helps a lot. There is a separate AC unit in each room for cooling control. The living area was big and open and expansive. The TV was modern and my son was able to connect his laptop to watch the NCAA March Madness basketball via screen share to the tv. We were able to log-in to our streaming services and watch our shows. The kitchen is stocked with K-cup coffee pods, which was a nice touch! The home is walkable, across the draw bridge, to the Nokomis Beach on Casey Key. This sure beats driving over there when it's busy! We were able to walk to Pop's for a dinner and a lunch. That was awesome because the parking over there is busy! We liked the quiet street, with the exception of some rap music and heavy bass that was playing during the day. But, the evenings (after dark) were quiet. As for the hosts, Ty and Olivia were in constant communication. Everything - from questions in advance, to check-in, to check-out - was smooth and easy. Enjoy your future stay here!

Bordered by the beautiful cities of Sarasota and Venice, Nokomis is justifiably known for its beautiful seashore, many shopping opportunities and cultivated residential areas. The unincorporated town includes Nokomis Beach, at the south end of exclusive Casey Key. In addition to the attractions in nearby Sarasota, Nokomis offers lovely Gulf beaches and fishing for visitors, as well as the best place to shell and shark teeth seek, and its beautiful shoreline. Visitors to Nokomis can enjoy small-town living and a relaxed beach town atmosphere, while also experiencing all that Florida’s Gulf Coast has to offer.

We are conveniently located near bike trails, and two state parks; Myakka State Park and Oscar Scherer state park!
