About this property

Safe quiet Sebastian bungalow on the water; a 5 minute drive to the Wabasso Bch

Watch the fish jump or the rockets launch from your private deck overlooking a beautiful landscape and deep water canal. Comfortable leather seating for watching TV or in the kitchenette area for eating or working at the table. There is a very comfortable queen size bed and a blackout curtain so you can get a good nights sleep! You have your own router and smart TV as well as a Keurig with pods and a small refrigerator. There's a steamer & bullet type blender as well as a cutting board, sharp knife, corkscrew & bottle opener. There is a grill for the microwave upon request. Private entrance with your own 1 car parking spot in the driveway. Grocery store is 5 min away as is the closest beach or park. Beach chairs and umbrella are available upon request. There are several local restaurants on the river where you can eat outdoors and listen to music. You can sit out on the deck at night and enjoy the peace and quiet while gazing up at the stars and moon!

Rick and Sue were exceptional hosts. It’s a nice apartment overlooking the the canal in a quiet area off the beaten path. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Very convenient to the beaches and restaurants. I would definitely book this again if I were in the area.

I like staying in this apartment while I’m in the area. Pelicans, dolphins, rockets launching in the distance. This is a very unique place, with an interesting balcony view.

Safe, quiet, bright, spacious and clean studio with deck seating over the river inlet. Sue is generous with her local activities, sites and restaurants knowledge. She met us upon our arrival, showed us our studio and made us feel welcomed. We were lucky to witness a Starlink launch from the deck too!

We chose this location because of the sea kayaks, but the manatees put on their own little show right off our deck. The apartment is cozy and clean, a welcome respite for winter weary travelers. We will definitely make this our preferred choice for future Florida stays!

Wonderful Location and Accommodations

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sue and Rick's place. The setup of the room was perfect and spacious, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Our hosts greeted us upon arrival and texted periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. Our only negative was that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the premises more. We highly recommend this lovely rental.

Manatees in paradise

Sue could not be nicer. The property was easy to find, clean and well maintained. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise view and watching the manatees play was awesome! Wish we'd had the time to use the kayaks and explore the river. Next time for sure!

Clean, cute small. I think too small for 7 days. Was over 3 miles to town so unwalkable but did bike a short trail to Sebastian owners were around a lot and we were told to keep sliding glass door shut for humidity reasons so got a little claustrophobic. Overall would think good for a few days

Great spot for a few nights

Sue was a very nice host and her home is very clean! Our bed was comfy, the little kitchen was great. The location is very convenient to both Sebastian, Vero and beaches! We would recommend this for a short stay and it is the perfect size for 2 people. There was a bit of confusion and a shower issue but Sue offered to resolve the matter for us the best she could. This didn't bother my husband and I because we understand things happen. A couple things to note there is no screens on the slider or the bathroom window and there is a message asking to keep windows and door closed this was a tad disappointing because it was beautiful out and we didn't need the air conditioner. Without opening the door or window it did get a bit stuffy. This is a small issue but thought it note worthy for future renters. Lastly Sue was prompt to answer when we texted except the last text when I asked for a later check out. Check out was at 10:00 and I was asking for 11:00, we understood if she was not able to accommodate us but a reply would have been helpful.

Sue was very welcoming, and met me when I arrived to show me the apartment. The highlight of the week was watching a rocket take off at night while I stood out on the terrace. It was truly spectacular, with the water below reflecting the fire above!

We have been AirBNB hosts for more than 6 yrs and love meeting folks from all over who have the same passion for our area or who are exploring it for the first time!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is very quiet and small and most don't even know we are tucked in back here. The beauty of the skies at night and the wildlife all around coupled with the active deep water canal are priceless! We have a grocery store and a drug store 5 minutes away and our small town has several restaurants where folks can enjoy music while gazing out onto the river with their toes in the sand!

What makes this property unique

The apartment is about 800sf and just perfect for 1 or 2 travelers. It is very comfortable and quiet and your private balcony is perfect for sunning or reading or even working as you have your own private router for wifi.
