About this property

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the Nantahala Gorge in a quiet community, our cottage is one mile from the Nantahala River and NOC and twelve miles from Bryson city. Built during World War 2 at Fontana Dam for the foremen building the Dam, this cottage was later moved to the Nantahala Gorge. Recently remodeled, it is cozy and stocked with everything you’ll need for a peaceful and affordable getaway.

Mountainside cottage

This rental has just what you need for a stay near the Nantahala River and all of awesome experiences nearby. The host made sure we were taken care of. The only bad part is we had to leave. I can’t wait to stay here again.
