Welcome to Bend, OR! Our charming Brightenwood House offers a relaxing living room, fully stocked kitchen, and amazing front and back outdoor living spaces. You can enjoy a propane BBQ and a smoker during your stay. The house can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 beds, and there are only 2 stairs on the front porch.

Please note that this is not a party house, as we aim to provide a peaceful environment for all guests. The property is divided into two separate units, and we kindly ask guests to respect each other's space and be considerate of the neighbors. The home is available to rent out as one unit or both!

We're happy to welcome up to two dogs per stay! The backyard is fully fenced, providing a safe area for your pets to play. Doggie bag holders are available in the front and back outdoor spaces, and we ask that you clean up after your dogs.

Help during move

We stayed here for a week while we helped our son and family pack and get ready to move out of state. Excellent location with quick access to 97, very clean and quiet. I wish we would’ve had more time to enjoy the outdoor spaces, but we were just too busy. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Christmas in Bend!

The property was perfect for our family during our vacation over Christmas! Everything was updated recently, and the beds/furniture were all comfortable & clean. Located off of the last exit on the south side of Bend, downtown was only 15 minutes away via car; no problems there. We would recommend this property to other families.

Trip to Bend after Retirement

We were truly enjoyed our accommodations in the house, truly felt as if we were home. The dogs loved the front yard to play and the area for walks. We definitely plan to book the accommodations next year again on our travels to Bend. Even though we were there 9 days we didn't get to enjoy all that Bend offers in the area.

Comfortable, quiet, and clean

We had a great stay. The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was in a good location, and it was a nice, quiet neighborhood - a perfect retreat for our infant son when we needed quiet time away from the center of town for his naps and bedtime. One thing was we wished the blinds were a bit darker as our son sleeps better when there isn’t light shining through the windows. It was not a big deal at all though. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning was strong (just what we needed in the peak of summer) and the house was clean. We would come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a small issue prior to check in that we didn’t get our check in email. Called and issue was fixed promptly . Home was well appointed and decorated. Clean. Loved the hot tub, fire pit, and the space for us to enjoy. My son moved to the area and this was close to him and great for our visit. Beautiful fireplace inside but it seemed to be turned off. I assume it is available to use in the winter. Our rental car was a plug in hybrid and having the EV charger was handy. I Had to call VRC to report an issue with a garden hose and had a quick response. “Sending someone over right away. “ Thanks for a wonderful stay. I will keep VRC in mind when we visit our son again.
