This home has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths on the main level as well as the kitchen, living room and a wonderful sunroom that is great for relaxing while watching the fisherman in the private, no wake cove. In the lower level you will find 2 additional bedrooms, another bathroom, and a rec room. Open the doors onto the lower level porch which has room for everyone to sit around the patio table and have a margarita or sit next to your honey on the swing on those cool summer nights. Home is beautifully decorated and has all the right touches. This will be the home you will want to come back to year after year. Large family vacation with kids of all ages and dogs. In short, the house was in a real state of disrepair but the location of the house on the lake was ideal. When we arrived at the house, from the start it was obviously neglected. Paint was chipping on the walls, the deck had several areas where nails were sticking out and the grass did not look like it had been cut in weeks. Even worse, we could not got the AC to cool the house to below 82 and there was an infestation of ants in the kitchen for the which the ant traps present were useless. i inspected the air intake filters for the HVAC and in two places the filters were horrendously filthy and the wrong size. They had been folded over on two sides to fit into the duct. Well, a call the the realtor in charge of this house at least got the lawn service to come out the mow. We still had to deal with the ants and the house that now cooled to 78. The dock was also very neglected but the location was ideal. Way back in a cove made it very safe for the kids to swim, SUP, kayak and have fun. Across the bridge was a marina with lots to do (Bridgewater Marina) and the cheapest gas on the lake. This house was owned by a rental company and I don't they stepped foot in it in a LONG time. They just contract out for cleaners and lawn guys. In fact they, there is no trash service so you have to haul all your trash to the dump or incur a 10$ per bag charge. We have been visiting SML for years and stay on different parts of the lake. We will not be in this house again.
