Our luxurious property offers a tranquil escape with its 6 bedrooms and 7.5 baths, complemented by private balconies and patios that allow you to immerse yourself in nature's beauty. With not one, but two refreshing pools to enjoy during your stay, relaxation is just a step away.

Nestled just 150 meters away from Playa Espadilla, Casa Playa y Selva boasts the title of being the closest house to the beach in the area. A short 3 to 5-minute stroll will lead you to the captivating shoreline. Our location on Arboleda road, just off the main road in Manuel Antonio, ensures both convenience and serenity. As you unwind on our patios, you'll be serenaded by the soothing rhythm of the waves, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundance of nature that surrounds Casa Playa y Selva. Regular visits from all three monkey species, as well as the colorful presence of toucans, parrots, macaws, and even the occasional sloth, offer a unique opportunity to experience the local ecosystem up close. With an ocean view from most of the rooms, our property is truly a harmonious blend of nature and comfort.

We take pride in providing modern amenities to enhance your stay. Casa Playa y Selva was completed in January 2024. It features cutting-edge updates, including fiber optics Wi-Fi with a USA VPN for seamless connectivity. Enjoy the convenience of a coffee and wine bar, house-wide Wi-Fi coverage, and smart TVs in many rooms to accommodate your streaming preferences and create a cozy home-like atmosphere. We have added a whole house generator to assist with the common power outages in the area. We have also added an additional 500 gallon water tank to help when the water is turned off for hours in Manuel Antonio area during the dry season. Our sleeping arrangements include 2 bedrooms with king beds, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, offering comfortable accommodations for up to 18 people.

To ensure your stay is as seamless as possible, we offer our own concierge service. From scheduling exciting trips to arranging transportation and fulfilling any other needs you may have, our dedicated team is here to assist you. This place was incredible!!!! You really can hear the waves!! The monkeys , sloth with her baby, birds and iguana visited everyday. The home is beautiful and updated. My family had the a great time playing in the infinity pool. Access to the ocean was also awesome! Estaban was super helpful. Magical vacation I hope to return soon

the villa was amazing! we have 9 ppl, the age range was 4-74. it is a modern villa and it is beautiful! we saw monkeys every day and at night we saw a sloth and a baby. we heard a lot of songbirds, but we couldn't see it bc of the jungle. we could hear the sound of the ocean from the villa--very soothing!we met the owners, Terry and Joan and they were lovely. you can walk to several restaurants. we did the sunset cruise with Esteban and that was great! we also did the Antonia park and that was just ok for me. fyi, they provide coffee, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, shampoo/conditioner/soap and spices/oil etc. I would rent the villa again in a heartbeat!

Amazing home! Clean, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of space for our group of 16. Kids loved the pool, the bunk room and the short walk down to the beach. Wonderful location just out Manuel Antonio National Park. Monkeys in the trees every morning and a sloth at night!Terry was incredibly friendly and accessible and Esteban was extremely helpful in planning our excursions. We had the chef cook for us our first night and it was fantastic!Would definitely stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Absolutely recommend staying here! Loved the lay out as we had 2 families and a house full of teenagers and the four bedrooms by the pool are separate and private from the 2 rooms in the main part of the house. Very safe neighborhood. The monkeys kept us so entertained every afternoon by the pool--even saw a sloth with her baby one night near the house. The wide sandy beach is just a short walk (steep incline) with fairly calm and warm waters (and even had lifeguards). You can also walk to some great restaurants with gorgeous views. But the most impressive thing about the house was the staff. Esteban was super helpful answering all our questions, and helped patiently with the planning process. He planned almost all our excursions and did such an awesome job! Had yoga and massage at the house, and our favorite was the white water rafting adventure!! Karynne, the chef, helped me plan a small surprise party for the birthday girl with us. Made a fabulous dinner and got her the most amazing the birthday cake. Truly wonderful people and made our trip one we will always remember!!!

The house was just like it was shown in the pictures. It was so clean and had a gorgeous view from almost every angle. Several restaurants were very walkable but it was so humid and hilly we drove. The concierge and owner were very responsive. The town was cute with grocery stores readily available plus the concierge stocked groceries ahead of time. The beds were comfortable and each bathroom was huge. There was access to the beach but you had to walk up/down a big hill which is fine unless you have difficulties with that sort of thing. Our arrival was delayed so we go there at midnight so it was a little challenging finding it at midnight. Overall, we had an amazing time and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Unbeatable location and spacious accommodations!

Terry and Esteban were both very welcoming and communicative. We had a large group of friends and some children and the house was the perfect balance of privacy and communal space. The pool was lovely and the beach is just a short walk down the hill. The location is great, close enough to walk to several restaurants etc. the home was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend booking!

Jungle Beach Paradise

Casa Playa y Selva was the perfect house for our group. The property was exactly as described, large modern and impeccably clean. The views of the jungle, animals and beach were spectacular and the walk to the beach was convenient. Terry was very responsive and his team took care of all of our needs. We booked the private chef whose food was delicious and made it so much more convenient than going out for our large group. The stay was true Pura Vida!!

Amazing Property

I cannot imagine a more beautiful or perfect property for a stay for a large group in the area. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, the common spaces are large and inviting with unbelievable views. The pools, balconies and outdoor space were enjoyed immensely especially while watching the beautiful birds, two types of monkeys (with babies!) and the sloth that was there in the trees just above us for the majority of our trip. Terry was available and helpful and accommodating and Esteban put together an incredible itinerary of amazing activities for us all to enjoy - he really was absolutely invaluable to us. Thank you Terry, Esteban and chef Karinne for an unforgettable vacation!

Pura Vida!

Simply amazing stay in Manuel Antonio. Everything was as advertised. You CAN really hear the waves crashing on the shoreline. And see them as well! A short walk down a driveway and you’re on the beach. Full kitchen to snack on the groceries. Quick dip in the pool while watching the monkey’s swing in the trees just a few feet away. Towels for the pool and towels for the beach! Everything is waiting for you. Terry was responsive when needed, and Esteban helped make the stay as perfect as possible. Couldn’t have asked for a better set up for our family of 7. Having our own chef was priceless! Definitely include it if you plan on staying at Casa Playa! Karine was a gem! Will stay there again should we find ourselves back!

I retired in 2023 and we started working on our dream in 2022. We plan on spending a large amount of our time in Costa Rica. I love being in Costa Rica. It is the perfect place for us.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I searched for 7 years in Costa Rica for the right spot. After visiting numerous places along the pacific side of Costa Rica, we decided on this area. When the land became available we flew down in 2 days and purchased it. Our criteria was walk to the beach, ocean view, peaceful area, close to restaurants, And still feel like in the jungle. This place ticked every box. I feel it is the perfect place if you want to really enjoy Costa Rica and the Manuel Antonio area. From the sound of the waves to the couple minute walk to the beach it is is the perfect place for relaxation.

What makes this property unique

Casa Playa y Selva is unique due to its location. The fact that you have private access to the beach and can hear the waves from the house. There are only a couple houses that allow this in the whole area. We also have 45 acre of rain forest on one side of the house that allows all the wildlife to visit. The ocean views are spectacular from every bedroom. We have a lower pool with a large patio and an upstairs spool with great views. We are very fortunate to have Esteban who would be your personal concierge to handle your every need. I feel we have the best property in the area to handle large numbers of people.
