This was a great place for multiple families! There is beautiful common areas and everyone has their own private space to get away too. Definitely definitely definitely recommend chef Paige, her meals were reasonable and delicious! Maria the concierge helped us and was available at all times. Erika and Mauricio helped take care of the place, kept it clean, did laundry- awesome! Definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for our family of 15. Its very nice, fully stocked and accommodating. The staff, including our concierge, were amazing. Location is perfect. When you mention Casa Tolteca, everyone in town knows where you are staying. It's the best in MA.

There are not enough good things to say about our stay at Casa Tolteca! Our family loved the villas and daily wildlife watching. We especially enjoyed the antics of the monkeys, spotting the local sloth and being surprised by the iguanas. Maria was absolutely wonderful to work with and arranged our travel from the airport, our daily adventures and even helped with groceries. We were able to relax and enjoy the view, swimming in the pool and our catered breakfast with Paige was a wonderful highlight! Casa Tolteca was very well maintained and we loved coming back from a day out, to have our beds made and everything smelling freshly cleaned! Lastly, if you reserve this amazing place, please tell “Iggy” the house iguana we miss him!

We had the most amazing experience at Casa Tolteca. The property is large enough that 4 families had room to spread out and also come together for family time. We spent endless amounts of time in the pool and enjoyed our frequent visits from the wildlife. Maria was amazing and helped arrange excursions, taxis around town, and transportation to and from the airport. Erica spoiled us by helping with laundry and keeping the house tidy. We could not have asked for a better location and love the local shops and restaurants.

The house and view are stunning; the concierge, housekeeper and groundskeeper are really good at their jobs; and the chefs that the concierge booked for us were awesome. We've been to some cool places around the world, but my family ranked this trip at the top of our list.

Great staff (Erica, Mauricio, Maria) who came every day to clean the pool and gardens, as well as the rooms and living spaces. They checked in regularly to make sure we had what we needed. We had so much fun watching monkeys every single day around the property as well as the iguanas that lived on the property, sunning themselves on roof, stairs and walkways. So much wildlife! The villa is so close to many places to eat and a grocery store across the street. Amazing stay! Amazing staff! Amazing experience!

Beautiful multi-level home in lush, landscaped yard. Best sunset views over the Pacific! Visited by Tucans, Scarlet Macaws, monkeys, iguanas and more. Daily maid service! Pool man cleaned the pool daily. We hired Chef Gabriel that fed us like royalty. Next door to "El Avion" restaurant/landmark! Cannot say enough great things about the house!!!!

Excellent property for a large family vacation with four separate living quarters. On busy highway with no sidewalks, but stores, restaurants and ATM are within walking distance and property has jungle atmosphere with animals present. Beach is not within walking distance, take a local bus. Grounds maintenance, maids and chef services are excellent. Concierge arranged all our excursions which were fantastic. Kids loved the pool, no hot tub. Manuel Antonio is a great tourist destination. Three to four hour ride from San Jose Airport.

The week was incredible! We had 6 adults and 8 kids and the house was perfect! Lots of room to spread out. The pool was our favorite place to congregate and spend time together. The views of the ocean are breathtaking! It is also very easy to walk to a small grocery store across the street as well as a few restaurants down the street. We saw lots of wildlife, monkeys, sloths and iguanas, without even leaving the property. The concierge, housekeeper and maintenance/pool help were very attentive, polite and hardworking. The chef was phenomenal and all of the excursions we did were top notch. All of the staff and tourism guides made our stay fun, easy and very relaxing! I will recommend this house to anyone who asks where to stay in CR! We hope to be back one day. Pura vida!

Perfect Family Vacation

Casa Tolteca is absolutely beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 11. From booking to scheduling excursions to selecting meals with the chef, everything went smoothly and the whole experience was delightful. Our concierge, Maria, could not have been more helpful and was a joy to work with. Thank you to everyone for making this family vacation one we will never forget.

Beautiful view, clean and nice layout. Central location was nice. The only thing that was a bummer was the noise of the traffic. Bring a sound machine or ear plugs! The trucks and motorcycles are very loud throughout the night. I didn't see an easy way to walk to the beach or the park. The chef experiences were great, nice housekeeping and the host was helpful with arrangements.
