CasaTolteca has remained one of the most popular and most requested luxury homes in Manuel Antonio for over 12 years because ONLY CasaTolteca has:

1) Perfect location... close to the beach as well as the town (this is one of only two large homes in town that you can comfortably walk to the public beach where you will find the entrance to the National Park).
2) Privacy - From virtually every corner of the estate, you have complete privacy. Your view is lush tropical rain-forest and stunning ocean views, not noisy, distracting neighbors. Most homes in town are built on narrow lots with neighbors just a few feet away.
3) Perfect layout for large groups... one large great room for everyone to get together when you want, and three other living areas for everyone to have their own private space when needed.
4) Horizontal layout that rolls up into the rainforest, which gives you that great indoor/outdoor feeling that you are living in the rain-forest, not just looking over it.
5) Safety - Completely gated, located in a very safe area of town, with security cameras (and security guard just in front of our entry gate), you can rest assured that you and your family will have no surprises.

Because of the unique location, you may not need rental cars which can save you over $1000! There is only one bus that runs through Manuel Antonio and it goes up and down the main road. The bus stop is 10 meters to the right. Bus is approximately 60 cents per person. Taxis are readily available and are couple dollars. Most everything is close 15-20 minute if you’re into some exercise!

Great location but the access going into the house is a deal breaker. When you are bringing your bags or groceries down those steps it is dangerous. The hot tub was a disappointment because there is no heater. I brought my own grill and I am glad I did because the one they provided only works on half the grills.

Beautiful view, clean and nice layout. Central location was nice. The only thing that was a bummer was the noise of the traffic. Bring a sound machine or ear plugs! The trucks and motorcycles are very loud throughout the night. I didn't see an easy way to walk to the beach or the park. The chef experiences were great, nice housekeeping and the host was helpful with arrangements.

Perfect Family Vacation

Casa Tolteca is absolutely beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 11. 4 couples and my 2 adult(ish) children, so much room to relax as a group or alone. House completely lives up to the photos and descriptions. Maria our concierge was fantastic - get the Chef!!! Paige is amazing - her menu was awesome. We did breakfast and Dinner each day, more than enough food and it was so great to not have to worry about anything. Book this place with no regrets - location is perfect - staff is amazing.

A wonderful location for a family vacation

The property is just as beautiful as the photos indicate. There was plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and 4 children to spread out. The pool, while small, was a huge hit with everyone. The food prepared by the friendly chefs was superb, and we enjoyed several excursions as well.

Beautiful home with incredible views! So many activities to enjoy. Animals everywhere! Maria was amazing setting everything up and followed through on everything. We hired a chef, Paige, who was amazing….creative delicious food and it made the week a real vacation for me . We had 17 family members stay the week of July 8th in this beautiful home which is perfectly located in the town, close to restaurants, transportation and the beach. The private chefs, mechanic and housekeeping were amazing! Bets trip we've ever experienced. Highly recommend.

Nicest place with the best service I’ve ever had

Had a family of 10 of us, and we all enjoyed our stay. The chef was very good and it was fun having her cook all of our fresh fish we caught. Also, there was a great restaurant within a five minute walk. That had a great atmosphere and great pizza. I’m looking forward to going back hopefully next year. The ride from the airport was a nice ride and all of the drivers were very nice and spoke good enough English that there was no problem communicating with anyone us from the airport or around town.

We are Canadians who love to travel and fell in love with Costa Rica. Specifically Manuel Antonio. It is the only place that I have seen that you are almost guaranteed to see Monkeys, Sloth, Parrots, toucans and tons more!

Why they chose this property

Privacy and Location!!! Casa Tolteca is the perfect location. Almost all homes in Manuel Antonio are on hillside and are not easily accessible. This property is in the heart of everything. Walking distance to everything including the beach.

It is the perfect set up for large groups as it allows wonderful meeting areas but has 4 separate units allowing all guests the availability for privacy to get a break from the group. You can get up in morning make a pot of coffee and enjoy the ocean view from your private unit without waking up the entire house.

It is uniquely awesome! Hence all the 5 star reviews!

What makes this property unique

The home has incredible private areas to sit and watch the birds and ocean. It is a gardeners dream. We have planted so many fruit trees and local herbs. All labelled in English and Spanish for those of us that don't know what we are looking at. There is a covered yoga/reading deck to avoid the sun when needed and private porches on each unit so you always have a place to get some quiet. There are many gathering areas for when you want to be social. Each room has its own air conditioning so you can cool off when needed. Private bathrooms and showers so you're not sharing. It is surrounded by jungle with complete privacy and tons of wild life yet still in the middle of it all. There just is no comparable property in Manuel Antonio.
