This marks the second year renting this property for our annual golf trip. The house provides a clean comfortable home away from home atmosphere. The location is ideal with convenient access to many restaurants and a short walk or drive to the beach. The owner has been very responsive to questions or concerns before and during our stay. The house was amazing!!! I booked the house instead of staying in a casino hotel for a conference. My wife and I loved the place. It had everything we needed including a fabulous pool, hot tub and to top it off a putting green. We grilled out every night and the house had everything we needed to enjoy great meals without having to go sit in restaurants. It was 4 bedrooms but we only used the master and the king bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge with a very nice and large walk in shower. We felt at home. We will definitely look at renting this place again. James, the owner, was very easy to communicate with. I texted him a couple of times and he answered back with in minutes. This place is AAAA

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The home was very clean, well stocked with plenty of towels and supplies and other amenities and it was in a great location. The putting green was an added plus which was also enjoyed by the golfers in our group. We had a couple of minor issues, but the host was easy to reach, very responsive and immediately took care of the minor problem. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Stayed here with siblings/spouses. 8 of us. Lovely house, spacious, quiet, nice neighborhood. The house was perfect for us. We couldn’t get the pool and whirlpool to heat up every day. My brother was disappointed that he couldn’t swim every day….thought we should get a discount. When the pools DID warm up they were wonderful. There are a lot of stairs which, we in our 70s, managed, but some people with mobility issues may not be able to do. There is one bedroom on the main level and 3 upstairs (3rd floor). The train in the back goes by a few times day and night but, surprisingly, didn’t bother us at all! I brought earplugs for the night but never needed them. The guys enjoyed the putting course. The hosts responded promptly to any issues or questions we had.

We love traveling and great food/bars! We absolutely love our gulf coast and all of the wonderful options in all of the different cities close to each other and the beautiful waterfront sunsets! We love providing an amazing experience for guests

Why they chose this property

Burton is a great little cul-de-sac area just off of 2nd Street, which is a very highly sought after area in Gulfport. It has many beautiful oaks and is one block from the beach and close to downtown. There are historic homes near this area that have been renovated and many new construction homes. It is a very quiet area where you'll see many retirees walking their dogs or going for a walk/jog when the weather allows when you're driving up and down 2nd.

What makes this property unique

This property has all of the New Orleans style flair but only a block from the beach. It is a very short drive to downtown (no more than 5 minutes) and also very close to Biloxi as well. The very high end finishes and en-suite bathrooms make for a luxurious experience with all the privacy you're looking for. The large porches are perfect for enjoying coastal breezes and quiet time. There is also an 80's style arcade area downstairs with Ms Packman game and Pop-a-shot basketball toss.
