This was a perfect spot for a long weekend in the New River Gorge. The home was beautiful and the views off the rear deck are 10/10. It’s well-kept, secluded and has all the amenities one could want while being tucked in a great location for rafting and hiking the Gorge. The hosts were very communicative, helpful and accessible if there were any issues at the home. I’ll definitely be back at The Bend next time I’m back in the NRG.

Fantastic property and location. The view is stunning, plenty of space for our group of friends to use it to rest and recover after white water rafting. Only thing I noticed was the beds weren’t listed as expected I’m not sure if it’s just out of date, but it was for the better where there was a bunk bed and more king size beds which I didn’t expect! Highly recommend this house, nothing beats an afternoon/evening on that back deck.

The host was great, the place was fantastic. The view from the deck is better than from the NPS visitor center. It’s the best private patio I’ve ever seen. Everyone loved it and had a great time.

Perfect Home for Our Annual Stay

This is the 5th year we’ve met friends from Ohio for a long weekend in this area. This is by far the best house we’ve stayed in. Very kid friendly from toys to dishes to bedding and ample room for parents and kids to have some space from each other at times. The home has beautiful views of the river and the trains down below!

Great place to get away with friends!

The Bend is the perfect property to get away with friends. The view is postcard perfect from the back deck. The location to hiking and Adventures on the Gorge makes it ideal for either staying on property or making a short drive for adventure. The house has ample space for everyone to spread out or gather in the Great Room area for dinner and conversation. Thanks for a fantastic weekend.

Amazing views!

We enjoyed our stay here while spending time visiting the New River Gorge area. The mountaintop views from the property are stunning and can be enjoyed from inside through floor to ceiling windows and outside on the muti-level deck. The property is spacious, offering 2 living areas, one on the main level and the other upstairs. We would return in the future!
