A truly memorable stay with family from across the country and our canine companions. The stunning views and cozy layout was the perfect combination for us all to unwind and appreciate all that Whidbey has to offer. We especially appreciated how truly dog friendly the property was! Waking up to the sunrise each morning was a tranquil delight, and we even spotted an Orca pod right from the kitchen table! Would be thrilled to stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and serene Whidbey experience.

Great Getaway

Great time had by all. It would be nice to have a bit more kitchen supplies, i.e. plates, glasses etc. But the location was great and the house was HUGE!

Great view, spacious and clean

We loved staying here! Communication with the property manager was wonderful. The house is on a bluff overlooking the sound, with a big fenced yard for the dog. House is bright and spacious. Lovely!

Amazing Views !

This home is conveniently located to Downtown Langley. The property managers were proactive communicators- which made the process easy. The home was great for 2 couples and we would definitely go back to enjoy the home and the views.

Spacious, bright house

The house has cathedral ceilings and large windows looking out at Saratoga Passage. Four bedrooms meant our teenagers all got their own rooms. Kitchen is nicely outfitted with dishes, pots, pans, and a large collection of organic spices.

Great rental

House and view were amazing. Dogs loved the big gated yard. Kitchen well appointed. Only issue is the dishwasher was a little wonky as the bottom rack wasn’t working well, but I imagine that’s an easy fix. Definitely still 5 stars, and would stay again.

Langley by the Sea stay in October 2020

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights in early October. The house is absolutely beautiful, roomy and so clean. The property was tranquil with an incredible view. We were lucky to be able to bring our dog with us as the yard is fenced. The property was easy to find and convenient to get to the cute town of Langley and other sites on the island. The property manager was informative and friendly. We are glad to recommend Langley by the Sea to other visitors.

We were a group of friends gathering to enjoy each other's company. We also enjoy cooking and found the facilities there very good for our preparations and dining. Only a few complaints: one of the bedrooms was converted to a bedroom and had a full-size bed instead of a queen-size; no dresser, hooks, luggage rack or any way to manage clothes except a suitcase on the floor; and no screen in the window so no way to get fresh air into the room. Also, there were only 6 dinner plates for the 8 of us, and only seating for 4 in the living room. We were able to adjust and otherwise the stay was outstanding.

Great Place for a Fun Family Weekend

Mini Vacation

Location, property, neighborhood was great. We had 7 adult women and 2 dogs. Great place for dogs! Fully fenced backyard, wide open spaces inside. Plenty of dishes, wine glasses, etc. just a few things that need to be fixed. Dishwasher didn’t actually clean dishes, poor lighting in living room, loose board in fence that had our dogs escape once. Once these are addressed, I would highly recommend the property to friends. It was affordable and the views were breathtaking

Beautiful Property in Prime Location

Switch-on fireplace was convenient and handy. Spectacular breathtaking views and sunrises with resident bunnies that visited the yard everyday. Also spotted white tailed hawks, a fox and whales in distance. Close to town of Langley. One minor suggestion: it would be nice to be able to rent a movie on cable TV if possible.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the High Bank, Saratoga Passage house! It was very clean, comfortable and contemporary feeling. Because we (5 of us) were traveling with an 11 month old baby, we ate in every night and the kitchen worked out very well. Plus, the grill is fabulous. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been a few more windows with screens. It was fairly warm and flies would come in if we opened a door or window without a screen. The view, of course, was wonderful and we really liked the south end of the island best.
