Casita Chiquita #1

Fully furnished 20 x 20 sq. ft. house, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The unit has a full kitchen and bathroom with a dining area and living room. There are two bedrooms, one with a Queen size mattress and the other with a bunk bed that has a full size mattress on the bottom and a twin on top. Perfect for a small family! The unit is tucked away in the back of a 1500 meter lot with an identical unit next to it. The yard includes a giant two person hammock, two reclining sun chairs, outdoor dining area and a common area in between the two units with more patio furniture and a BBQ grill. Located less than ten minutes from the airport and within ten minutes of more than half a dozen beaches including Crashboat and Jobos!

Tony is an excellent host and communicator. His cell phone was getting fixed so he texted me from a different number hours before with the pin location and how to reach him in the meantime.The location is absolutely fantastic close to every beautiful beach we wanted to visit. The casita is quaint and has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hot water and pressure is fantastic. The WiFi wasn’t great but we were only there to sleep so that didn’t matter. Our 1 and only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom. It has a dip in the middle so my hubby and I woke up with back pain every day. Other than that, this place was great! We would stay here again.

Tony was wonderful. Very attentive and knowledgable. He was a great guide as well. The location was close to everything . Walkable to a few locations. Close to the beaches and he referred us to wonderful beaches that weren’t so congested with tourists. The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed and if we needed anything else Tony would accommodate. There’s extra things in rooms to play and hang out as well as nice seats and tables to hang outside
Outside area very open and beautiful lots of plants and natures beauty
Living room and kitchen area. Spacious, open, clean and the kitchen has many useful items and utensils. Toaster oven microwave and more.
Clean and tidy shower bathroom area
One room very clean AC worked great

Unfortunately the renter fell asleep even though I told him I landed in Aguadilla PR at 11pm and after getting my car and luggage it was 12am. He never sent the info to stay and next morning sent a message saying he fell asleep. Me and my children were stranded at 12am - 2am driving around until we were able to find another stay. Poor communication!!!

Owner is super attentive. Property has all you need except a Microwave. Really clean, only the oven had dirty trays. But all was great

Cabin was comfortable located in a seclude area, very quiet, host was very accessible but, didn't have internet access and was little difficult to find the area.

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. It has everything you need and it has a modern feel. The area is very safe and quiet. It's close to the most amazing beaches within 5-10 minutes (driving - you will need an car) including Crash Boat, Punta Borinquen Beach, Peña Blanca, Surfers Beach, Survival Beach, and more. It's close to shopping centers, restaurants, malls, and bars. The town square is very nice to walk at both day and night. It's located in a very perfect area. The host Tony is very helpful and responsive. He's bilingual and depending on the time of year you may run into his mom who's a wonderful English school teacher and so welcoming and warm. These are good people in a good location. They offered us fresh towels periodically and water among other things. Outside the unit are gazebos, lawn chairs and a grill. Tony has other things available as well. We enjoyed our stay 10/10. Thank you

We had a great stay, beds are comfy. Single bed is not firm at all. AC in both rooms cooled the whole place if you left the doors open. 1 fan in living room. Futon in the living room perfect for a child. Owners are super friendly and always available when we needed something. Small refrigerator, and 2 burner electric stove. I was still able to make decent small meals. Grill w/propane available. No wifi. Shared hose thats on the other side of the other little home next door. Never got the hammock stand to work. Panaderia 3 min away. Multiple gas stations nearby w/basic items available. Beautiful beaches 10-15min drive. Will definitely recommend for couples or families with 2-3 children.

It could be so much better!

This place could be a great place to stay with a few tweaks. 1) Hospitality: the place is difficult to find. Give written directions and do not rely on the pin from Google maps. 2) Kitchen: the kitchen had a frying pan with oil on the little stove from the previous tenant. There were not enough utensils; no forks, 1 spoon and 1 knife and 3 glasses. 3) Bathroom: No bathroom mat. He brought one when I asked for it. No hooks of any kind to hang towels or wet cloths (bathinsuit). The soap was an old and used bar of soap. The shower leaked, but the hot water was great. 4) Bedrooms: Storage is an issue. We had to keep our suitcases on the living room floor. It can be fixed with some hooks and shelves. The pillows in my room were stained and dirty. They smelled musty. There was no top sheet and only a blanket that was probably used by the previous tenant. The other bedroom had top sheets, bur no blanket. On my last night, I had to switch bedrooms because my bed was full of ants. The air conditioner was great. I traveled to Puerto Rico for a funeral and came to the property mostly to sleep. I would have liked a little more hospitality. With a few fixes and better Hospitality this properly could be great.
