Super stay in the heart of vancouver

We had a beautiful stay in vancouver. In the appartement everything was very well organized: key pick up, all kind of utensils for kitchen and cooking, for bathroom and laundry was provided. Washing machine, dryer, dish washer, coffeemachine, toaster, tv with streaming and so on - we felt like at home. Tranport was comfortable - a lot of bus stops within short range. Communication with Maha was easy - not much reason but if, she was very responsive. Reaction within hours. Overall we can recommend.

Wonderful location

This apartment is ideally located for enjoying Vancouver. It’s an easy walk to False Creek with its charming ferries, to Coal Harbour and to many nice shops and restaurants. Grocery stores are close by as well, and the apartment has all the necessary cooking implements for a nice meal at home after a day’s outing. Although we expected to hear ambulances as the apartment is close to a hospital, it really wasn’t an issue. As other reviewers have said, the building is a little dated but everything is very clean and Maha, the host, is responsive and eager to answer any questions. This place makes a great base for exploring and a nice place to come home to at the end of the day. Thank you for a great stay, Maha.

Vancouver Stay

Great place. Wonderful setup. The neighborhood has lots to offer and easy to walk to other neighborhoods. Its a bit noisy but that's to be expected being in the heart of the city and the host provides plenty of ear plugs for sleeping.

West End Condo

The location is perfect: easy access to great food, coffee, Granville Market, Stanley Park, Yaletown. Condo has high ceiling and windows providing natural light. Good bed. Kitchen has everything you need. I’ll stay again.

Simply Perfect

The apartment is compulsive clean and neat. All the furnishing are in good shape. All the cleaning supplies, utensils, pots and pans one could want. Top flight streaming setup; the owner provides streaming gratis. The neighborhood, Davie Circle, has a great many restaurants ranging from intimate to immense… Lots of moderately priced ethnic places, but also high end places. Davie is a club scene, active but no where near crazy. The building is extremely well-kept and secure in a walk to everything location. Easy access to Granville Market downtown, Canada Place and every mode of transportation. Doors, elevators and garage are all fob-controlled. The apartment is three good sized main rooms plus a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and appointed. The living/dining area is comfortably furnished. Perhaps best of all the owner was the best we’ve dealt with. She never took more than an hour to respond to anything. Booking and 24-hour check/in were seamless. We had an issue with the TV as a previous tenant had left a sound bar turned up high. The owner came immediately and diagnosed and fixed the problem. In 40+ rentals we have has almost all great experiences, but this was over the top.

Great location and lovely secure apartment

Highlights- apartment with everything you need and great wee Terrace with lovely views over community garden and not blocked by any close buildings. Surprisingly we got used to the noise and sirens very quickly so what I thought would be the low point wasn’t any bother at all.

Cute and charming

This one-bedroom apartment is close to everything in the West End, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Maha is a super host, and very responsive. Definitely plan to come back!

Great city apartment w/view

Nice modern apartment in the heart of the city, with great walkability and transit options, near the best of everything Vancouver has to offer. Great restaurants nearby, easy transit or bike to Stanley Park and Granville Island. Small but comfortable living room and bedroom. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice view of the city profile and north shore mountains. Only downside is some street noise from local nightclubs and a nearby hospital which seemed to launch an ambulance roughly every 17 seconds (the property owner does provide earplugs for noisy evenings). However, the people in the building were very quiet. Would recommend for anyone visiting Vancouver as an alternative to a hotel as you experience the city more like a "local."

Centrally located cute apartment

We enjoyed our stay in Maha’s spacious and clean apartment. She provided everything we could possibly have needed- from dish soap, condiments, dishes, to umbrellas, maps and brochures of the area. The windows provided very nice ventilation throughout. The kitchen was very cute. Maha was also available to answer any questions. The only downside really was the street noise. The apartment is located on a very loud downtown street, and in addition to traffic and sirens, you hear loud music on Friday night. But- Maha was thoughtful enough to provide earplugs! Overall the positive outweighed the negative and I would recommend this rental.

Comfort all around

Lovely apartment in an interesting neighbourhood, close enough to walk everywhere in the downtown core ( or easy option of hoping on a bus). It quickly felt like home. The bed was very comfortable; which is important for a good night sleep as we walked all day. We also enjoyed the access to a balcony. Despite being near a busy intersection and close to a hospital, noise did not bother us or interfere with our sleep at night ( and we live in a quiet suburb back home). We felt safe with the building security. An acknowledgement to our host Maha for her availability and flexibility. Thank you. If you stay, check out the Caffe Mira across the street, they have great coffee and almond croissants. Don't miss out on taking a photo at sunset on the local beach!

Fantastic location, very urban experience!!

My wife and I were looking for an apartment downtown for a couple of weeks while she attended some workshops, and this place perfectly fit the bill! From the moment I made the reservation, the host was communicative and responsive, which was great! I'd sent inquiries about other units in the West End and Yaletown and didn't get responses for weeks if at all, so I appreciated her availability. The apartment was clean and well appointed, though the tropical scented air fresheners were a bit much for us... we ended up putting them out on the patio for the duration of our stay. The kitchen had a mostly full compliment of tools with nice appliances. We try to do a lot of cooking when we travel, and aside from the dull knives, this kitchen worked well for us. Having both grown up in big cities, we were not bothered by it, but it's worth noting that this apartment is right in the middle of downtown and faces a very busy intersection with a hospital just down the street. You should be prepared for a fair amount of urban noise. The host has left a jar of earplugs by the bed, which you might find useful if night noise is problematic for you. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would absolutely stay here again, but for one thing: The bed. It is very hard, and sleeps like a futon. For a couplefew nights, it would have been ok, but after 2 weeks, we found it quite uncomfortable and slept poorly as a result. If I could suggest one single improvement, it would be this: Please replace the mattress with something softer. It needn't be mushy, but this was like sleeping on a pallet! In nearly every way, this was precisely what we were looking for: the price was reasonable for the location, the view from the balcony was nice, the in-unit laundry was a real bonus, the couch was comfy, and access to all the rest of Vancouver was easy. With a new mattress, we'd happily stay there again!!

Cozy apartment in great location

Long weekend in Vancouver

Tidy, one bedroom in fantastic central location for downtown. Description is accurate, apartment has all the amenities, is very comfortable and access was straightforward and simple. Maha was avaialable and helpful when we needed her. Highly recommend this spot for couple or single visiting Vancouver.

The property was beautiful and spacious in a fantastic neighborhood. My heart was a great hostess.

As I was travelling alone she made special accommodation for me to pick up the keys to the property that allowed me to not have to park my car on a busy street. Very helpful! The outside of the building was being cleaned and as a result there was limited patio access. She let me know a week before I checked in. Didn’t have a huge affect on my stay. I would stay here again.

The night before my arrival the apartment had a flooding issue that required repairmen coming & going. The owner made arrangements for me to: stay at a much more expensive unit in Yaletown. The new property was lovely. Absolutely excellent service from the owner!

Perfect!

Couldn't recommend this place enough! -Amazing location right inbetween Davie Village and Yaletown. Close to a lot of food (especially sushi) options and bike rentals. Close to English bay/ Stanley park but also Grainville/kits area -Maha was amazing. She was flexible to my situation many times and was a lot of help. The set-up and check in process was very professionally done. -The place is really cool, the patio is large with some mountain views. Tv/fireplace/desk setup is nice. Bed is very comfy and the couch isn't as bad as people say! Just pull it out/ recline and it makes for a decent lounge spot.
