About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, Sleeps 6

Fall in love with it first! Ocean Walk is brand new to the rental market and is ready to show off its many new additions. This gorgeous, pet-friendly vacation home is great for families and has not just a private pool but a fenced backyard and large second-floor balcony.

A quiet location in a residential area, Ocean Walk sits between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal so you’re happily surrounded by water. Best of all, dual aspect windows mean you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. The rest of the day, buckets and buckets of free, Florida sunshine light up your vacation in every corner of the house.

Ocean Walk really suits a family who loves their comforts – no formal, unyielding couches here! Why cram into a condo when you can have all the space in the world? Ocean Walk is surrounded by charming oak trees and has abundant, wrap-around gardens.

The kitchen, living and dining areas are open-plan so all six of your group can enjoy each other’s company without compromise. High ceilings invite even more sunlight, while you choose a favorite spot to watch a movie on the new Smart 50in HDTV (Samsung). There is also free high-speed wifi throughout the house. (Please note, while the fireplace adds great charm it is not functional).

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms suit a family or group of friends (up to six people). The master bedroom has a 46in Smart HDTV (Samsung) and its own balcony access through sliding doors, and even more windows fill every morning with lovely light.

A fresh white 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and plenty sunshine of its own plus a 40in Smart HDTV (Samsung). Both bedrooms have spacious dressers with handy cubbies for vacation staples: stash your camera, hat, sunscreen and more.

Every gadget and appliance are at hand in the kitchen whether you thrive on coffee or can’t live without toast. Brand new stainless steel appliances are further improvements to a well-stocked U-shaped kitchen.

Palm Coast and environs offers endless variety to groups with all kinds of vacation interests. Enjoy day trips to Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center, historic St. Augustine and endless rounds of golf and shell-hunting. The quiet streets around Ocean Walk are perfect for bike rides, made extra memorable in sunset light.

Mere minutes away is Washington Oaks Gardens State Park – a must-see for any nature lover or photographer!

Loved the house, pool and location - BEACH ACCESS needs clarification.

  • 4 of 5

This is a great house for a small group. It is very close to the beach. You can view and even listen to the beach from the deck. The pool was wonderful. The beach is very private, clean and beautiful.

The beach access for this house is gated off due to the Hurricane last year we were told by some maintenance workers. The gate has not been removed so you can not walk to the beach. The residents of the gated community are not very welcoming so don't even try to go thru there to get beach access. I have requested that the management company give clarification to whoever stays so they don't have the issue we had.

This however, did not have an impact on the good time we had at this beach house!

Great location.

Great location. We had the entire beach to ourselves. It was wonderful to come back from the beach and go for a swim at the end of the day. There was a large porch wheere we enjoyed family meals and games. However, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and there was an awful smell. We think it was possibly a plumbing or mildue issue. However, even with these issues we enjoyed our stay. Also close to St Augustine for an evening out and Disney only 1.45 hours away for a day trip.

I loved it.

  • 5 of 5

Me and my family had a wonderful time. The ocean is just beyond the palm trees and you can hear and see the waves from the balcony. The pelicans fly overhead all the day and a gopher tortoise walked right past us while we were swimming in the pool. It has very close beach access. The beach is not crowded at all. I think only the locals have access to it. It's a 2 minute walk, if that. It has a very well equipped kitchen. The pool is a lot smaller than I thought. It's also a saltwater pool which was great. Let's talk about the cons. There is a very nosey neighbor across the fence from the pool. The second day of our stay, we were coming back from the beach when we noticed a couple people trying to gain entry into the house. They were there to clean, they said, but were a day too late, however, it was clean when we arrived. I'm not too sure about that confusion. You have to pay a cleaning deposit for the people to clean after your stay, which is reasonable, but they also want you to strip the beds and sweep and vacuum before you leave. I shouldn't have to clean and pay. The cons are minor and I absolutely would recommend this place.

All we hoped for!

The wife and I took our honeymoon at this lovely vacation home. It is a short walk from the beach, and you can really drive and park on the side of the road if you are carrying lots of things. Nice neighborhood! We went to Saint Augustine three days to tour the city. Lots to do!

We also went to Daytona Beach which was a bit of a disappointment, but St. Augustine was great! The pool was clean. It is a little smaller than it looks in the picture, but I wasn't trying to swim laps, so it was all good! Comfy bed! Great kitchen.

Our only complaint was that the propane tank ran out in the middle of a grilling. But Hey, if that is the biggest complaint we had, it must have been a good trip.

I would strongly recommend this house for couples or small families.

Only prob... neighbor yelled at me and my daughters for using beach access by his house... all signs led to that access... disappointed beach not close. Everything great just feel like rugs should b ripped up..couches updated.... ceiling fan updated and new mattresses and bedding... little to little... but loved the house
