Getting There:
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Inquire about gravel roads if concerned as the road conditions can change. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

Cancellation Standards: Any cancellation completed with a refund will have a 5% transaction fee for the processing of the refund. Therefore, the refunded amount will equal 95% of the transaction paid. Lake Days Rentals is not responsible for the refund of fees paid directly to VRBO.

The listing for this venue was accurate and pictures were spot on. Getting in to the venue was a struggle at first but the manager was very responsive to meet our needs. We were there end of February so we didn't use the water access, but all of the information was prepared and was an opportunity if it were warm enough.

Had a conference at Margaritaville. Stayed here instead of the hotel. It was nice and quiet and I enjoyed my stay.

Quaint Location

We had a great stay at this Vrbo! It has a nice view of the lakefront. If there were any issues or questions, our property manager responded immediately! It was a great stay, even in the middle of winter.

The location was really nice. Enjoyed sitting out back and watching the golfers in the morning. We had trouble with the internet and while I requested a quick phone call to discuss what I needed to do to resolve, they only replied via texts which took longer than necessary. It finally took someone coming out to the property to resolve. Part of the problem was incomplete/incorrect directions for WiFi. Another issue I had was there was no step stool in the unit and the router was up on a high shelf. The office did a credit back for our frustration which was good. The bed in the master was comfortable but very squeaky if you got up in the middle of the night. Hopefully they fix the directions for next time. I loved the location.

We had issues with the keypad lock. It working but a manual key was provided. The day after check in, a company was sent to fix the keypad lock and the vendorMade it so that the front door did not lock at all. It was Friday evening when we discovered and the family could not not go out to eat because we could not lock the door. I was pleasantly surprised when someone from LakeDays showed up and replaced the keypad lock with a regular lock that would work with a key. We were not expecting someone to come out on Friday evening so that was nice prompt attention to resolve the issue. We had no other issues.The property was stocked with what you need. There is a binder check in with lots of good information.Key highlights for future guests would be that Waze tells you distance to things as the crow flies and not driving. Look at time to get somewhere before you pick where you are going. Also, the gate closest to the property is not for guests and you should go in through the Margaritaville entrance. Once you go in the entrance make the first right. It almost does not look like a road because it is a tree lined small road with a sharp curve.We appreciated the covered parking for loading and unloading in the rain! The living room space was comfortable as was the screened in porch. The porch was nice for drinking morning coffee and watching deer. We did not realize this place was on the golf course. Next year we will bring clubs.
