Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great beachfront location. The Moorings has wonderful amenities to enhance a relaxing weekend on Sanibel. We love sitting on the dockside watching for manatees and enjoying the picturesque umbrella and chairs available on the beach side. You can easily spend the whole day on property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were grateful to have this wonderful place to stay. Obviously you are working hard to rebuild and to recover the landscaping. Beautiful beach!Our only real disappointment was that the guests are not permitted to use the laundry facilities in the unit. Having stayed in many other places on Sanibel over the years, this is the only one that has a common laundry room.Thank you

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying here for years. This time around, the room had roaches, it was not as clean as it has been in the past. Some things weren’t working properly like the A/C and some things like the ice maker in the room weren’t working at all. For the price they are asking, having gone up significantly, the rental should be in much better condition. With the current rate they are charging, I would not recommend it to anyone.

The only problem I had was the glass dinning table had pointed corners so I covered them with padding. My two year old granddaughter could have cut her face.

Lovely room right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sanibel Moorings - our room was literally as close to the beach as you could be! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cutlery and pots/pans. We spent a lot of time on the living room balcony, enjoying the view. Found lots of seashells! I would recommend bug spray as the no-see-ums/sand flies were active on the beach. But the room and the resort were great! I'm already planning my next stay with them!

Fun in the sun

We loved the ocean and the sandbar, the convenience of the chairs and the umbrellas every morning. We stayed on the beach for almost 12 hours every day and all you need is your towel it was beautiful we will be back

Extremely rude

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience! We arrived a Friday afternoon to a unit with not a properly functioning A/C... I called the front office and apparently there was nothing they can do.. I had to go to Walmart and buy 3 large fans in order for kids and elders to sleep! Not only did they never fix the issue, they were extremely rude when we called and when maintenance came out. He basically told us , if he can deal with it so can we. I do not recommend this resort to anyone. Update: just received a call from office manager , Kari... I have never been yelled at or scolded in such a manner. She threatened to press charges against me and was told I was black listed from the resort. All because I posted a review about the truth that my family went thru. To say I DO NOT recommend this resort is an understatement. Oh

Great property!

We had a blast. Beach is very close to property. We had to change units to 532 from the original 722 due to renovation work in that building, but it was equally as nice.
