The house is lovely, spacious, clean and has all the amenities! It’s remote but easily accessible to all things, the best of both worlds. Bailey Wick’s Arts and Eats on the way in and out of the neighborhood is a can’t miss!! We had a very comfortable and fun stay!

This house is a sweet spot on a quiet lake. The open floor plan allowed for a wonderful feeling of connectedness! The inside space was well appointed with plenty of towels, paper products and other essentials, and the outdoor space was very attractive with flowers (fading, at it was the end of summer during our visit), but still pretty. The area is quiet, with neighbors close but keeping to themselves. The lake is beautiful! So quiet and peaceful, unless the loons were communicating. That was one of our favorite sounds of the week. This place is off the beaten path and a great place is one is looking to be away from a lot of action. We spent time in Bridgton and Norway and enjoyed both small towns.

We absolutely loved our stay! Mike was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was stocked with everything you could need - it was by far the best stocked house we've stayed in. Loons were plentiful, we saw a bald eagle multiple times, and the little red squirrel running around the yard was very entertaining. The yard was nice for playing corn hole, laying in the hammock or hanging out by the pond in Adirondack chairs. The provided canoe and kayaks got a lot of use. We enjoyed paddling to the left and exploring the quiet area with channels through the lily pads. We also enjoyed poking around the shops in Norway and getting gelato. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Place for Relaxing

Everything from booking to checking in and out was simple. Michael was a great host, reaching out ahead with a list of things we might want to include in our plans and specific driving directions to make our arrival easy.Cabin was a wonderfully stocked with all the items we needed for a fun-packed week. The boats were so nice to have access to. Would definitely stay there again

Home review

The house was perfect for me and my children. It was very clean and comfortable for all of us. The backyard has a great fire pit for roasting marshmallows while looking at the lake. It is very peaceful and quiet. I will definitely be going back to this house.

We booked this property to visit with friends that live in RI. We all loved the location and spent most of our time outside. The gorgeous pond and peaceful quiet cut only by loons calling and the occasional paddle of kayaks floating by. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and appreciated the boats/kayaks available to us. The house was comfortable and well-equipped with everything imaginable! We found a fully-outfitted kitchen, first aid items, laundry supplies, and more. Our host provided great communication and help when needed. We would stay here again and highly recommend!

Lovely Lakeside Gem

This house is a beautiful, tranquil slice of heaven. The location is ideal - only one hour from Portland and the sweet little town is just a few miles away. We also chose the house because of the many water toys and lakefront swimming it has. We were a party of 2 toddlers, their two parents and one grandma. The house has a large grill on the outdoor deck overlooking the serene lake that is a perfect spot for coffee and family meals. We even saw loons. We cherished our time away from our busy Ives and just enjoyed each other in this heavenly hideaway.

Peaceful and relaxing vacation

Our family has been renting lake houses off and on for years. Sunset Point is a gem - nicely situated on North Pond. We had ages from 3 years old to 78 years old (four generations) and it worked out perfectly for everyone. Deck and fire pit overlook the water with the dock a few steps away. The property gets a nice blend of sun and shade. The house is well stocked with everything you need and enough space for everyone to spread out. We rented a pontoon boat and it fit nicely on the dock. MIke is informative, accessible, and responsive. Highly recommend.

This is a great cabin, great spot on the lake. Everything was as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. We caught several nice bass from the dock. Caught pike from the kayaks . From the kayaks we also enjoyed looking at the scenery around the islands , saw a lot of wildlife and took lots of pictures . An eagle landed in the tree behind the cabin, the loons floated by and called to each other in the evening and several ducks were spotted. We also enjoyed the antique shops in town and a couple of local eateries. Daddy O’s and The laughing Loon were two favorites. The cabin is a little over an hour to Portland and we enjoyed a nice day trip and trolley tour in the city. It was nice to return to the cabin and relax on the dock , in the yard by the lake or fire pit ,in the living room watching tv or playing games at the table . We ran out of time before we ran out of options and would love to return again. The cabin is well equipped and Michael is easy to contact if you have any questions. So happy we choose to stay here.

We had an amazing time. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. The kids had a great time working through all the games and books that were available. The pond is amazing, it was clean, quiet and the perfect peaceful spot. It was a bit rainy during our stay but with access to cute towns, antique shops and plenty of other activities it didn’t stop us. Enjoyed every minute and highly recommend!
