We loved staying at this charming Charleston single. It’s a really nicely decorated house with lots of space. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a coffee or wine.The location is great and so close to King St, which doesn’t make it the quietest area to stay but does it really walkable
Fantastic location, renovated adorable house, very clean, loved the 2 balconies and outdoor space, great that 2 of the king beds can turn into 2 twins, bathrooms are updated and water pressure is excellent.
Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The host was so easy to communicate with and responded to our every request. The only downside I could find is that while I was very grateful for a driveway to park the car in, it was very narrow (and I'm not lol.) We did make it work without scrapping sides of houses or car. I'd rate this property 10/10 or solid 5 stars.Thank you for being great hosts.
The house was great! Really great space for us to hang out and easily walk to all the nearby restaurants and attractions. We also had an easy time driving in and out of town. Included everything we needed for an excellent stay.
Loved staying at Downtown CHS! The location is perfect for exploring everything the city offers. The beds were super comfortable and the house was very clean. It was too cool for us to enjoy the out areas, porch and yard, but both areas were lovely. Super attentive host made our stay all the better.
We visited Charleston for a bachelorette weekend, and this house was the perfect location, super cleanly, plenty of space for a large group, had great bedding and appliances and the hosts were very accommodating!
Our stay, a get together with my 3 adult children, was wonderful, the property was very clean, kitchen provided all essentials. Location 1 block from King Street and all it has to offer was just what we were looking for. Check-in was easy and communication with Alex and management company was informative, friendly and very accommodating. A pleasure to deal with.
Beautifully decorated, well-equipped, close to king st (and cofc). The managers were vey informative before check-in and super quick to respond to questions. The whole place just felt very easy! And the bathrooms are quite beautiful too!
Very nice home in neighborhood, about 2-3 blocks from King St where there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Saturday night was pretty noisy late with a lot of college students walking and honking but Sunday and Monday nights were very quiet. The backyard area was very nice and private and our group of 3 couples spent quite a bit of time out there. The master bedroom had a closet but the other 3 did not; would suggest maybe putting up more hooks or places to hang things in bedrooms and bathrooms. Otherwise house was great and would stay here again!
We really enjoyed our family stay in Charleston. We were two families of four with teen sons. The location was perfect…so many restaurants nearby and just a little longer walk down to the Battery/south of Broad to see all the beautiful homes. The home itself was a great example of a Charleston single house. The “living room” area upstairs was too small for our whole group of 8 to lounge around, but we spent a lot of time playing games and talking around the table. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated so nicely, though the shower water pressure wasn’t the best. It was cold during our trip, and it would have been nice to gather outside if there were outdoor heaters. We loved the porches/balconies, but would have benefitted from more outdoor seating. Another recommendation would be to add darkening shades or curtains on the back rooms as the sun was bright in the mornings for the guests sleeping in those rooms. Overall we LOVED the house and would stay again and recommend.
