Sandra and Dave's home is perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it had everything we need to cook a lovely Christmas dinner. We've spent a lot of time in Sarasota over the years. We've never explored this neighborhood and rental, and now it'll be our go-to place. Loved being able to walk down to neighborhood Park on little Sarasota Bay, very quiet even though close to Tamiami trail, and easy access to everything we needed from stores, to beach, to restaurants. restaurants.storhrestaurants
We had an absolutely fantastic week staying at this beautiful property in Sarasota, Florida. The house was incredibly spacious, perfect for our family, and the pool was a wonderful addition that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. The owners were incredibly responsive, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and more. The house is situated in a lovely neighborhood and is conveniently close to many stunning beaches, making it easy for us to enjoy the sun and sand every day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be coming back in the future!
We had a great stay. This house is a 15 min drive to siesta key beach. There are restaurants and stores all within a short drive as well. We were traveling with our kids 14, 13, 3, and 1. There was plenty of space. They also have a pack n play and high chair, which was so helpful! There were plenty of pots, pans, kitchen utensils etc. to cook meals for the family. The pool was a great amenity especially with our kids and red tide being in the gulf during our visit. There were plenty of towels for showers as well as the pool.
The host was very helpful with little hiccups (alarm battery) and responded quickly. The home is decorated in soft and relaxing colors and comfortable furniture and very spacious, appreciated separate office area, and the really nice large appliances. Suggestion for a smart lock keyless entry to be installed on front patio door to eliminate need for physical keys (key box was a bit rusty and hard to open in the rain at fence with no cover overhead).

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Code wouldn’t work to get in the door but owner was very responsive. The house was a little old the fan in the bathroom made a loud squeak noise when it was running. The bathroom toilet wouldn’t stop running. The smoke alarm went off for no reason and the fire department showed up. I also found a cockroach in the master bedroom closet and that was very upsetting.
The private pool was a huge hit with everyone! Our granddaughter certainly improved on her swimming skills from the time spent in it. The location is in a lovely mature neighbourhood. We enjoyed our walks admiring the properties. The house is super spacious. Massive, well equipped kitchen was well utilized. The extra sunroom made a fantastic play area.
We were so impressed that we were given toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc. Any time we’ve booked somewhere else, we’ve had to supply these ourselves. Very thoughtful and very, very much appreciated!
Location also allowed us to go and explore other beach’s in the area. One highlight was finding sharks teeth on Caspersen Beach.
Loved our whole experience and highly recommend this Tropical Paradise!
Thank you!

Sandra and Dave
First Dave and Sandra are great. Their home is equipped with everything you need to feel like you’re home. Their private pool made it even more enjoyable, especially when the grandkids came. If I had any questions Dave and Sandra were a phone call or an email away and always available. Sarasota has so much to offer and with Siesta Key Beach minutes away, it was just the perfect location, perfect house. Thank you Sandra and Dave. We had a great time!
We enjoyed our stay in Sarasota. The house was lovely, exactly how we remembered it, and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Overall, a great family vacation.
We had a great family vacation. Owners were wonderful. Location of the home is great. Short drive to beautiful beaches. And close to anything you could want or need. Would stay here again and highly recommend.
My family and I had a great stay here. The house was clean with plenty of room. The backyard pool was awesome as was the location. David and Sandra were also very responsive to anything that was needed. I highly recommend this home.
I walked into this home and asked my husband, "think they want to sell? I could live here!" Owners were nothing but friendly and accommodating. Very responsive. We had some slight changes and messaged them about shifting dates slightly, they immediately did this for us. The home was clean and comfortable. Felt like home. The yard was its own oasis. We drove about 6 min to the beach, and came back to enjoy the pool and patio. The pool has a lot of shade if you want to enjoy outside but get out of the Florida sun some. We would love to return.
From start to finish our stay in Coral Cove was great. Sandra and David have a lovely home and are great at communicating if you have any questions or concerns. The house is in a prime spot: 12 minutes to Siesta Key, 25 min to Lido, 4 min to Publix, nothing was too far away. The house itself is awesome with a ton of space. We enjoyed cooking at home most nights and relaxing in the pool. We would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!

Coral Cove
We had a month of beautiful weather, fun activities and spectacular beaches. This is a no frills house where I didn’t have to worry about kids touching things they shouldn’t. Enjoyed it very much

Great house!
We truly enjoyed our month long stay at the Hoing’s home. The location was great...close to the beaches, easy access to Tamiami Trail and great neighborhood. The house was clean, kitchen fully stocked for those who like to cook and great layout for family. Plus a pool to enjoy after the beach with drinks on the patio. Highly recommend this house.

Not for me
A very clean, modern and well maintained property, although we were without cable for a major NFL playoff weekend (an apparent delay in getting the cable company there to fix things - but we were not told until we arrived and called). The location is excellent for access to most of the restaurants and shopping that Sarasota has to offer, but traffic to the beaches limits access to those areas. The tiny yard has exotic plants and trees, but is surrounded by an 8 foot tall fence that is a few feet from the entrance and the screen porch. In fact, tall fences and tiny yards seem to abound in Sarasota, so don't expect a view unless you drive to one. The pool was clean, older, and much too small for swimming. Basically the pool was a presence, perhaps useful for a dip in warm weather. The house across the street was for sale ($600000). Both that house and yard were smaller. So the home is comfortable and the neighborhood safe, upscale and quiet, but it is not a tropical paradise. Rather, it had the feel of a tight enclosure. I live on a farm in the mountains, and couldn't wait to leave.

About the host
Hosted by Sandra and Dave Hoing
We have been married for 20+ years with two children. We live in small town Ontario, Canada and have done so all of our lives. We had travelled to Sarasota over the years and were always captivated by the Beaches. The white sand at Siesta Key reminds the kids of the snow in Canada. What a wonderful place to stay and relax with the family.
