Had a lot of fun. Enjoyed the outdoors and the space inside. So close to grocery, attractions.Got quite cold in bedrooms upstairs and downstairs at night. Heater could not keep up with heat loss through windows. (Nov 23 - Nov 29).

The house was very welcoming and perfect for our annual couples holiday retreat. There were ten of us and we never felt cramped. Had a lot of amenities in the kitchen. An extra bathroom would have been nice with 10 adults, but we made it worked. Overall highly recommend! Asheville is coming back strong!!!

We recently stayed at this beautiful home with 2 other couples, all over 50, and it was a great experience overall. Each couple had their own spacious bedroom and bathroom, which gave everyone their own privacy.The views from the kitchen window and the third-floor master balcony were lovely—just note that there are power lines running through the property, so you’ll want to look straight out rather than down to fully appreciate the scenery.We did have a small issue with the top rack of the dishwasher not sliding out, but the owner was already aware and had informed us that it was scheduled for repair. Although it wasn’t fixed during our stay, it didn’t impact its overall usage.The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and shares a cul-de-sac with primary residents, so guests should be mindful and keep noise to a minimum. This is not a party house—it’s a relaxing, comfortable retreat.One small note: the second-floor room was not comfortable enough to serve as a gathering space for six people, but we made it work and there is a great space on the bottom floor.We especially enjoyed watching the wildlife—wild turkeys and deer wandering through the property.One suggestion, remote control blinds because the sun can be blinding in the second floor common areas.Overall, it was a great property and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property and beautiful location. Owner was very responsive and took very good care of us. At the end of a cul-de-sac but close enough to everything. I highly recommend it.

10/10 Rental! I booked Treetops for a girls reunion. We had 6 ladies, and this rental could not have been more perfect! Plenty of bed and bathrooms, extremely comfortable mattresses and linens, great seating and a marvelous view! Book now and enjoy your stay!

Great for a Family Gathering

This house with its 6 bed rooms gave us the opportunity to gather the whole family in one place to celebrate the graduation of our grandson from Mars Hill University. We loved the atmosphere and extended space that made the experience wonderful.

Perfect location for our girls weekend

Feels like the country up in the trees but so convenient to the highways and only 12 minutes from downtown Asheville. Spacious, bright well equipped house. Beds are comfortable. Space was perfect for our group!

Best place to be during a Cat 4 Hurricane!

We were staying at Tree Tops when Hurricane Helene blew through Ashville. We were grateful to have weathered the storm in this lovely home. The house sustained outside property damage (fallen trees). The owner was responsive and concerned. We have 0 complaints. Given the circumstances, I have no idea how to write a review.

Girlfriend Getaway

Highschool friends for 50+ years celebrating our 70th birthdays in Asheville. Tree Tops couldn’t have been more perfect for our stay. Plenty of beds and baths. Updated, clean, great provisions - just bring shower soap and shampoo. Jason was a perfect host - providing a quick response to all questions. The neighborhood is quiet and exciting - turkey, deer, and bears - oh my!

High School Reunion

Location was decent but from the pictures it looks like it’s out in the woods by itself and it’s in a neighborhood. The house looks a bit tired. A lot of the windows in the house dirty, a lot of cobwebs both inside and out, light bulbs out, deck dirty along with deck furniture, one window in the basement had a major crack. We also had bears almost daily in the morning in front of the house which would’ve been good to know.The beds were very comfortable and we had great bathrooms.

Lifelong friends turn 60

We all loved the Treetops. Beautiful home. Each couple got their own room and bath. We enjoyed that all of us could watch the closing Olympic ceremonies together in the lower level and sit outside together around the fire. It was great to sit around and talk and laugh. Just a few notes for you. The sleep number bed in the top level seems to have a leek. It would be great if there was kleenex in each bathroom.The bathroom door in the larger, top level somehow got locked and couldn’t be opened. Some minor tools would be helpful. Thank you. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay, but not as pictured

Our group, consisting of five adults and five children, enjoyed a four-night stay. Due to the rain, we spent more time indoors than planned. The house was well-equipped with small appliances, dishes, hand soap, a fire pit, and towels. It was mostly clean, though we noticed a few spider webs and popcorn and other snacks in the couch. The owner was easily reachable and responded promptly. Conveniently, several stores were a short drive away from the house, and the large windows offered great wildlife viewing opportunities. Despite some discrepancies from the pictures and one incident where a member was bitten by a spider in bed, we would still recommend this house to others. However, it may not be as luxurious or spacious as depicted in the photos.

We are two families that are long-time friends and co-workers. Between us we have kids ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers, and we love to travel to the Asheville area. We have rented a number of the available properties, but wanted to find the ideal spot... so we decided to create it ourselves. If we weren't busy working (as environmental engineers, a Realtor/former NASA flight operations engineer, and a microcontroller product engineer, turned author) we'd be fighting over which family would get to move in full-time!

We searched for over a year to find what we thought would be the ideal vacation home and vacation rental. When we found this home, we immediately saw the potential. After undergoing an extensive renovation completed in 2014, it is everything we were looking for: multiple master bedrooms, great views, completely modernized amenities, and ideal convenience to all that the Asheville area has to offer.
