About this property
Relax with a View Just 5 minutes from Downtown Asheville
This mountain home is nestled in beautiful, wooded scenery just 5 minutes from downtown in a quiet, residential neighborhood.
There are four bedrooms and three baths to accommodate 6-8 people very well. The primary bedroom has a king bed. The upstairs guest bedroom has another king bed. The downstairs bedrooms both have queen beds and share a bathroom. I have 2 smart TVs, one in the upstairs living room and one in the primary bedroom. My house is decorated with tons a fun artwork and vintage items. Plus, there are a few of my own handmade glass pieces available if you would like a souvenir from Asheville. The garage is reserved for my personal use. If you reserve the home, you will be the only guests. I will not be present during your stay. I live in the mountains which is lovely, but makes for a steep driveway yet is completely accessible with any car. There is a 3 car maximum.

Guest interaction
I have lived in the area for awhile now and know great places to eat and hang out. If you would like any suggestions or tips, please just ask. I have a PDF of recommendations I’d be happy to send by email before your stay. There is also a book in the kitchen that suggests some of my personal favorite places. It has phone numbers for reservations (which I suggest) and maps to help you find everything in Asheville. I will not be present during your stay, but am always just a text away for anything you might need.
Getting around
My place is a quick trip to downtown by car or Uber. In just 5 minutes, you are in the heart of downtown ready to enjoy all that Asheville has to offer!
Other things to note
This is also a residential neighborhood. Sound travels easily, so I ask that guests be respectful in terms of noise. Thanks in advance! Please consider taking an Uber or Lyft to hang out downtown, just minutes away with tons of great places to hang, eat and drink!! I’ll send you a list of my favorites! There are so many, it’s hard to choose!
Please be advised this is a mountain home in a mountain setting. This may not be the perfect home for people with mobility issues. There are approximately 7 steps from the driveway to the walkway and 2 steps from the walkway into the house.
The kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms and baths (including the master), dining room and living room are on the main level. There is one bedroom, bath, and a den with a futon in the basement.
I have a regular drip coffee pot, k pod coffee maker, French press and electric kettle. Filters are provided: please bring coffee and creamer, we have the view!
Just so you are aware, there is a camera at the garage door. It is there to help with any problems a guest might have with the lockbox. It also triggers a light to come up for late night arrivals which is helpful! The only thing I can see from this camera is directly in front of the door. The only reason it is there is to help guests check in and check out. One dog is ok with pet fee, must be house trained. Ask if you have any questions.
This home is not suitable for parties or events. Please do not book for a bachelorette or bachelor party, you will be asked to cancel your reservation. Registered Guests only, no smoking, no parties.

We had a fantastic stay. The property was perfect and the location was ideal -- close enough to downtown to get there quickly, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. In addition, the decor was fabulous. It transported us back in time in a very good way. We will definitely be back!
Very nice home, clean and host was very responsive. Interesting antiques, close to places we wanted to go. The one thing that was difficult was that the driveway and road leading up to the driveway is VERY steep with curves. One of our vehicles was a 8" tall van, it was a bit scary at times trying to get up to the house.
Courtney was very welcoming and one of her restaurant tips Bonito was really quite amazing and creative. We love the view off the elevated back deck which was green even in the winter from all the pine trees and the large kitchen for cooking. Fireplace was nice to enjoy one night too
Stupendous rental home. So spacious, comfortable and pet friendly! Cosy sheets, soft towels, and what felt like Temperpedic mattresses!!! A record player and gorgeous stone fireplace accompanied a very well appointed kitchen. The view is amazing. Barely 10 minutes into downtown, close to Asheville Yoga Center and the River District, so very convenient! If I ever visit Asheville in the future, I will rent here again.
This was a lovely place for a family Christmas. Courtney had the home decorated for the holidays. My mom, cousin, aunt, uncle, and dog all fit comfortably in the four bedrooms. The kitchen had all the right pots and pans we needed for a holiday dinner, plus plenty of glasses, mugs and wine glasses! The back deck has a mountain view in the winter. The whole place feels serene even though you're only about 5 mins drive to a commercial area. I would definitely stay here again!
The house was lovely and full of personality. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, and there were plenty of toddler-friendly supplies provided. It’s also very convenient to Asheville.
This is a beautiful spacious home close to downtown and hiking. 4 full bedrooms and plenty of other common space. Picturesque grounds. Extremely clean and well-organized. We especially appreciated the fireplace and ample firewood. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Ashvielle.
We came to the Ashville area for a conference at the GPI. The house was near the resort as well as downtown and many nearby restaurants. Home was very accommodating & clean. Host was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay.
We stayed for a weekend in October. The house was perfect, we had 5 adults and our pup was with us. The house was very clean, the beds and sheets were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and supplies. It was also very well maintained and the decor was lovely. Also a nice touch including body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the showers! A great stay in the mountains! Would highly recommend staying. It’s very close to downtown Asheville too and Courtney, the owner, was great to communicate with and very accommodating!
We were on a girl's trip with my 2 grown daughters and 4 granddaughters, ages ranging from 18 months to 16 years. This property was so perfect for our group. Lots of room for all of us: wonderful spacious kitchen, 3 living areas, beautiful deck out back looking into a gorgeous wooded area. Every part of the house was so well stocked, even a closet of things for our baby! Everything was clean and super comfortable. It was glorious for us Texans to experience real fall: changing leaves and cool weather in the mountains of North Carolina! It was also easy and quick access to town, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Biltmore. The host was easy to communicate with. Loved it and highly recommend!
We stayed here for several days. The location was great; it was near everything downtown! The place had all the amenities you would need and was very clean. I would absolutely stay here again
Wonderful jumping off point for Asheville adventures
Property was very nice, and well suited for our couples group. We loved the decor, location and cleanliness of the place. Perfect distance to Asheville, remote enough that the surroundings were quiet, yet close enough to easily get to downtown. Would definitely stay there again!
This house was very well kept and in a nice neighborhood close to town. Perfect if you want to stay in and hang out and be in nature or close enough to get in an Uber and go in to a few breweries and Uber back. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was just as pictured, very clean and amazingly well stocked! We completely enjoyed our stay and would go back for sure! Uber is definitely the way to get around too!
This house comfortably accommodated a family of 6 adults and a baby. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a convenient location to downtown Asheville. We’re already planning to try to stay here again!
We traveled to NC to get a break from the Texas heat and enjoy the fall colors of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a great time and it was always nice to come back to the house and relax even more.
This was such an amazing and spacious yet cozy home. Very conveniently located less than 10 mins. from downtown Asheville. Courtney was an amazing host and was immensely responsive by phone to all of our questions. We had one tiny issue finding the home initially, but were glad that we arrived when there was still daylight. And very thankful that Courtney was so responsive and helpful in getting us there. It was so nice feeling like we were in a peaceful, quiet and secluded area in the woods despite being so close to the city and all the local sites. We were blown away by how well-stocked the home was, especially with things for our toddler, including a baby gate, baby books, high chair and Pack N Play. We also loved seeing all the quirky, unique, artistic and antique decor throughout the home. It absolutely has a lot of character! My favorite was the record player with the vintage record collection. We would strongly recommend staying here for anyone who is visiting Asheville and would absolutely consider coming back ourselves in the future!
We all loved the house. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great- About a 10 minute drive to downtown and the Biltmore and a central location for lots of hiking! Our host Courtney was awesome and very responsive when we had questions.

Why they chose this property
My home has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths making it a great place for a family or 3 couples to stay very comfortably. Double shower heads and a jacuzzi tub make the master bath a retreat! Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances help bring a smile to any cook's face in the kitchen. There are 2 smart TVs with netflix and amazon. But the deck will please everyone, with a lovely view and a bit of the cool Asheville night air! I'm located just 5 minutes from Asheville, but it feels like the country.
What makes this property unique
My home is decorated with tons fun antiques, quirky pieces of art, and lots or handmade pieces through. I've tried to consider everything from aesthetics to comfort and function. Come stay in the country, 5 minutes from downtown Asheville with all the amenities of home and more.
