The Ocean Pearl - A Waterfront Beach Retreat

Built in 2018, The Ocean Pearl is stunning luxurious home that we have enjoyed for years with our family and now hope to share that with you! This home was designed to entertain multiple families and children - with breathtaking views, large gathering areas, and many bedrooms/ bathrooms. Every floor has 13" ceilings, allowing for deep blue ocean views while cooking dinner, drinking coffee on the porch(s), or waking up to a beach sunrise. We would be so glad to have you stay with us!
The space
Located right off Indian beach, our home has everything you need to make the most of your stay on the Island of Emerald Isle. With room for up to 16 guests, your family and friends will have all the amenities you could ask for. When you aren’t exploring our local culinary hotspots (check out our favorite recommendations!), you can relax with a drink on the porch while watching the dolphins play! Each bedroom has a large closet so feel free to unpack and make yourself at home!

At the Ocean Pearl, we have many sleeping options including 3 King bedrooms, 3 Queen bedrooms, a twin trundle bedroom, and a pullout queen size sofa located on the ground floor.

There are 5 full bathrooms and one half-bathroom - each full bathroom has a hair dryer. We even have an outdoor shower located on the side of the house for washing off a sandy day at the beach!

Our family has been gathering at the beach for over 40 years, and this house was one of our favorites. Wonderful space for gathering, kitchen is well-stocked and the owner was helpful and comminicative. Would definitely stay here again

End of Summer Get Away

Ocean Pearl was a perfect destination for our family with young children. The home was very family-friendly included a great children’s library, highchair, well stocked, kitchen, and lots of safe places for the kids. While not beachfront, we had a great view of the beach and easy beach access.

Memorial Day Fun

I agree the three families has been going to the beach for Memorial Day for over 20 years. As our children have turned into adult adults, we are looking for places for them all to sleep that are not bunkbeds and children’s areas. This house was pretty close to perfect for us Even the days when it rained and we were stuck inside there was plenty of space to spread out and do whatever we wanted.

The Ocean Pearl was a beautiful place to spend our family vacation! The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay! There was a pack-n-play provided for use that had a little issue with locking the top bar. When we notified Arianna, she had a new one delivered by midday! Talk about service! The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and we enjoyed lots of meals together during the week. Location is awesome...just steps away from the beach access and a beautiful view of the ocean from the home! The lift was so helpful in moving in/out and bringing in groceries! The decor was lovely! We hope to return to this home for many future vacations together! 5 STARS!!!

Beautiful house with breathtaking views of the beach that accommodated my large family for an unexpected family gathering. We enjoyed the thoughtful welcome gifts. This property is plenty big for a large group. Beautiful views. Beautiful home but showing too much wear considering how new it is. The housekeeping staff is not doing the job they are being paid to do. At least two of the beds had dirty linens upon arrival. Floors were not swept and had not been mopped in a long time. Dead roaches in many places. Dirty dishes put away into the cabinets. Toilets were not cleaned. I understand wear on beach front properties due to harsh environment. The issues with this home that were upsetting had nothing to do with beach environment. The host was responsive and offered to send housekeeping back. We chose not to do this as we wanted the house to be clean upon arrival, not after we already checked in. This home would have been great if the host would just address the lack of cleanliness. Check in instructions were not provided and had to ask for them. The host was very responsive with this. I think that the housekeeping staff is aware that they are not being inspected and do not care about the service they are providing. I expect that when I pay a large cleaning fee the property will be clean when I arrive.

Our home was designed to be a place for our family of several generations to gather, bringing us all together in one place for our families in Virginia and North Carolina.

We live in Wilmington NC full time, but several years ago, had an amazing opportunity to live in Emerald Isle and fell in love with the area, the people, and the gorgeous ocean views. This area bring so much peace to us and we hope you feel that too by the end of your stay!

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is a gated community of about 10 homes. We have a community fire pit, beach access, and outdoor showers to wash off sandy feet!

What makes this property unique

Our home was truly built to entertain several families comfortably. We have 7 spacious bedrooms with full closets (several walk-in closets), large bathrooms, and many gathering areas. Our home has top of the line amenities, designer furnishings, luxury chef's kitchen, and gorgeous ocean views!
