Let me say... I loved Ruth Lake Resort, I can't wait to go back. We stayed in cabin #1. It was clean, comfortable and provided all the basics. I love the lake access, the spot to hang out and watch the sun set. We didn't get a chance to use the grills, but will next time. The garage is another spot you can hang out in, we did. We appreciated the extra area's in the garage, the ice machine, just all of it. We had everything we need and could of just hung out at the resort all day. I want to bring my family and friends for along weekend next time.

Clean cabins, full of amenitites

We had everything we needed for our stay this week! It was lovely, quiet and just a great place to get away. Highly recommend for small families or adults!

Cozy cabin

This was one of our best experiences. Cabin in a ideal spot for us especially with the beach right on the same property. Took our kayaks from the beach to fish Also dog friendly which was what we were looking for. Owners were very nice and helpful.

Cabins on the lake

Well manicured! 5 cabins and a mini motel. Lake is beautiful, clear with beautiful sunsets. Property has many amenities. Shared covered roof and indoor seating for rainy days. Hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was very clean. The shower was extremely small for a grown man. The nouse from.the highway was not good. I thought we would have lake access from the cabin but did not. Overall the place was clean and comfotable.

A Paradise for ALL Travelers!!

This little paradise has some wonderful history, that the new owners have respected, but have remodeled to ensure it has updated amenities & meets the needs & wants of all travelers!Lake Views: Cozy Cabin Feels: Beautiful Sunsets: Evening Bonfires: Lake Swimming: Fishing: Kayaking: Paddleboarding: Sauna: ATV Riding: Outdoor/Indoor Games to Check-Out: Tiki Commons Area: Grills for the Grill Masters: Having all the above items are absolutely fantastic, and are all so appreciated!It also must be noted, that a place is also only as good as the owners put into it! You can tell that Dave and Dax, the owners, have put a lot of thought and care into their little paradise, and the little touches go a long way with our family. We definitely will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay! Everything went smoothly from contactless check-in to check-out. Everything was super clean and as pictured and described. We appreciate you allowing pets. I wish we had had more time to use more of the amenities. The lake area and sauna looked real nice. Communication with out host David was very prompt and he answered the questions we had. Bed was comfortable but a little hard for my preference. A nice memory foam pad would fix that. Better lighting over the bathroom sink and an outlet would be a nice thing to add for the future.We will definitely recommend Ruth Lake Resort to our friends and would stay here again when we are back in the UP.
