Beautiful home, great location

The home was beautiful, immaculate and was perfectly located. We enjoyed the use of the pool and also did some fishing right off the back boat slips Recommend. Would stay here again!

Home away from home!

Beautiful and clean house. Loved the fully supplied kitchen as we made a few meals! The location is perfect and the view is amazing! We took advantage of the heated pool and had a great time! I would recommend Padre escapes!

Perfect place to stay!

We highly enjoyed our stay! Super convenient spot. The back gate opens and close to pool. We had a battery operated golf cart and the golf cart parking was right outside our back gate making it super easy and convenient to charge our golf cart! The kitchen had everything we needed and very nice kitchen equipment. We would definitely book at no crabby attitudes again in the future!

Family Fun!

We stayed with family and friends. The townhouse was beautiful and we enjoyed weight room. In addition we had a lot of fun fishing and the slide in the pool. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Amazing summer fun!

We had a great time. The only downside is that we were not provided with shampoo or conditioner. Luckily I brought some already. Everything else was great!

Enjoyed the second floor balconies, where you have a view of the water from behind another building. Beds are comfortable, nice large seating area and kitchen. Only drawback was, we accidentally left some clothes behind in the master bedroom. We called the next day, but they were never found. So not sure about the cleaning staff who must’ve kept our clothing. But we do recommend the unit itself, just don’t leave anything.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was like new, clean and comfy and I would recommend. The only problem we had was the text message sent during our stay stating the quarterly bug spraying would be in two days. We politely texted back and asked it to be rescheduled for the following day-the day we were to check out-as we had people with multiple health issues and young children and didn't want them exposed to chemicals. They said "no". After texting again and being told "no" again, we talked to the site manager who said, "No problem, they will not spray." IF we had been told when we made the reservation about a quarterly bug spraying, we would have asked for our money back and made reservations elsewhere. (The resort was practically empty so it wouldn't have been a problem.) Please let your guests know BEFORE they make their reservations about spraying-some can't tolerate ANY chemicals (even supposedly 'non-toxic' ones). Thank you to the kind manager who solved the problem.

Good stay

We have been coming to Whitecap beach for the past 5 years but this was our first time staying at this property. It is clean and close to Whitecap Beach. The two sets of bunk beds are nice for those traveling with multiple children. The community pool and water slides were nice, and our kids had a great time. There’s a pickleball court and club house on site with a few games and tables but we didn’t use these. A couple things to note… 1. The walls are very thin, within the condo itself and between neighboring condos. Expect to hear a lot of what is going on around you. 2. Unlike every other property we have stayed at, no toiletries were provided except for a bar of hand soap in each bathroom. Not a big deal if you bring yours anyways. Just be prepared to pack some or swing by the store on the way in. 3. They provide one bath towel per guest. If you’re staying multiple days, be prepared to wash your towels multiple times (and bring your own laundry detergent because you are only provided with one pack…so only one load of laundry). 4. The pillows and mattress are super uncomfortable for our family and the family we traveled with. After the first night we woke up with neck and back pain. Realized the pillows are “super firm” and we are accustomed to soft pillows. Again, this is a person preference. 5. Tons of mosquitoes inside. Not sure why…doors were kept shut and windows were never opened. Overall we enjoyed our vacation but prefer to stay in other properties in the area.
