Nice Getaway in Smokies

Very cute cabin. We stayed three nights and came from Knoxville. It was a very rainy three days. Really wished the hot tub was covered. The owner was very nice and responded to concerns quickly. We will definitely go back go back.definitely go back.

We stayed for 4 nights in October and enjoyed the proximity to attractions. The reason for the low rating is that the place is not as pictured with the biggest change being the living room furniture. When messaging the host prior to our stay, I let him know my husband is in the military and doesn't get much time off. I specifically let him know how excited we were to relax in the cabin, since we planned to spend a majority of our time there. Even so I was not notified, and we were very disappointed at the new set up upon walking in. It's one thing if we book the place knowing what it looks like, it's another to show up to a place with a smaller, shorter, non-reclining couch... my husband and I were pretty uncomfortable on it. For other people this might not be a problem, but we planned our trip around a place to stay not the other way around. At that point nothing we could do or say to the host would change the set up so we made the best of the situation. I promise had we known, personally we would've gone with a different cabin. The worst part is that there was no mention of it, even after the fact. No offer for a refund (even partial) or anything. Business as usual, I guess.
