2024 Update | The Perch has four bedrooms and sleeps 10.
Our North Shore cottage is close to great restaurants, unforgettable views and sunsets, gorgeous beaches, three world-class golf courses, and family-friendly activities. You will love The Perch - the private wooded lot, the comfy beds, the deck hammocks, the fire pit, and the winding path that leads to our shoreside gazebo. Our cottage will provide an ideal getaway spot for couples, golf foursomes, and families.
The space
The Perch is beautifully appointed and will provide a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation experience.
Guest access
Guests will enjoy private use of The Perch and will have access to all on site amenities.

Idyllic location!

We loved our stay at The Perch. Communication with Wes and Sandra was easy and responsive. The house is beautifully set up for guests and is a lovely space. The location is perfect and minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. Highly recommend a stay at this property!

Fantastic stay!

We had a great time at the property! The accommodations worked well for our 2 families with littles. The cottage was beautiful and well supplied. The eagles and bird watching on the way down to the gazebo was a highlight! Wes was friendly and very hospitable. Would definitely stay again!

The host at this property is AMAZING! I would recommend! The house was secluded, which we enjoyed. We had an issue with wash clothes and they fixed it so fast we were impressed. The cottage has games for you to play and a fire pit area that looked very inviting. The unit has an air conditioner and heating that worked well! In fact, I wish they let us give 4.5 stars instead of just non-decimal ratings. In every VRBO we have stayed in there have been tiny issues. Little things, but this one had the fewest little things of any VRBO we have stayed at! I think the highest compliment we can say in this review is that we would stay here again! It is SETUP for people coming in and having a great stay in such a beautiful area. I doubt you will find a nicer, cleaner VRBO in the area!!

Nature Aplenty

This property is situated on a private road in the country and a few minutes walk to a lovely gazebo on a coastal pond. A screened room with a dining table provided a wonderful spot to enjoy local lobster. Our hosts were wonderful people! Wes and Shirley provided lots of information about the area and we bought some lobster where Wes recommended. Access to the beach is about a 2 minute drive away. It is situated on the North coast of the island. Highly recommended!

All amenities provided including dish and laundry soap. Kitchen tap needed tightening, so a little frustrating to obtain pressure. But otherwise all other items were fine. It was nice to have two rooms with the additional upper bunk. Lots of extra cots and a high chair in addition to a pack 'n play. Childrens toys were provided. The weather didn't co-operate but property large enough to spread out.

Our family of 10 (including 4 kids ages 5 and under) had an amazing stay at The Perch at Blue Heron Hideaway in Sea View. Wes and Sandra were excellent hosts and very friendly and responsive to any inquiries.We had everything we needed in the home especially all equipment for our 20 month old grandchild. It was a very private location with both shade and sun, a yard to play games on, a playground for the children, a fire pit with wood, and gazebo to walk to. It was also so close to an excellent private beach as well as close to many more beaches and attractions.We had a memorable family stay there and would do it again.

Hosts Wes and Sandra were exceptional. They cared for us and made sure our vacation in PEI was amazing with helpful guides to the best restaurants and beaches around the island. Access to the private parking for the beach was easy and always had room to park. It's a family friendly cottage that's secluded, quiet and offered great privacy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family vacation to the island.
