Amazing getaway

Wouldn’t change one thing about this place. Absolutely wonderful and we’re already talking about next year. We had a tornado warning at 5am and that with the wind was a little concerning, but other than the brief 5am storm we had absolute perfection and peace.

Family trip for graduation

The house was just as we expected from the online pictures. It was very comfortable and nice. We could have used more towels and neither deck was cleared of dust when we arrived. Loved the large selection of board games. The location is very peaceful and quiet.

About the host

Hosted by Christopher Horrell

Host profile image
Born and raised in the Upstate, we have always loved spending time outdoors and surrounded by nature. We built this treehouse as a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Now, we’re excited to share that experience with others and offer guests a peaceful escape of their own.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, while still offering plenty to enjoy. Guests have access to an Olympic pool, restaurant, and lounge, with nearby boat ramps making it easy to spend time on the water. It’s a great setting for relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors.

What makes this property unique

There is truly nothing else like it. With 16-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows, and sweeping views across Lake Hartwell toward the Georgia mountains, the scenery is constantly changing. Every sunrise and sunset feels different, making the space feel special no matter when you visit.

With more deck space than interior space, the outdoor living area is a major part of the experience. You may find yourself spending just as much time on the porch as you do inside, taking in the views, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings.
