The check in was easy and Gisele was responsive and friendly. We were totally wowed by the house, its even more beautiful than the photos. The way you can see the lake through all the downstairs windows, and gaze upon nature while you are cooking in the kitchen was great. There was a small table where we could do a family jigsaw puzzle and at night we had a campfire and marshmallows.

The cabin was beautiful and spacious and had loads of fun activities, the kids really enjoyed the pond and the kayaks! We truly enjoyed our stay here and found it very peaceful

Ski vaca

We had an amazing stay at this home during our family ski trip. The house was spacious, clean, and perfectly located near the slopes. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again—highly recommend for a relaxing and fun ski getaway.

Wonderful 2024 winter holiday

Giselle is a wonderful andd attentive host. 9 of us enjoyed this beautiful catskills getaway. Great space, well equipped and cozy. Fireplace, feasts and fun! Highly recommend

Beautiful home provides all amenities

This home was perfect for our Labor Day weekend reunion, with everything we would need, easy use of fire pit, grill, deck and kitchen (but there is no dishwasher). Gisele was great to communicate with. Would definitely go again!

Lovely, Magical Stay

Loved the cabin and the beautiful nature around it! It's tucked away and private but still accessible. The cabin itself is wonderfully furnished with a great kitchen and outside grill. Gisele is a responsive and lovely host!

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay, even on a rainy weekend! Grandparents, us and the kids enjoyed the house, kayaking and chasing after frogs; our pups loved the lake and running around! Fully recommended!

Great Place! Great Host!

Giselle was awesome! She helped me and my family have the wedding of my dreams. She was so helpful and attentive to everything we needed. I truly enjoyed her beautiful and eclectic space. It truly made the wedding beautiful! Loved it!

Everything was as advertised and then some. Eclectic and charming, peaceful, cozy, and spacious. Kids loved it, the pond was wonderful, and we hope to come back!

Wonderful get away

(My previous review must have got lost as I am being asked to send another review) My group of 6 adults enjoyed our time at this spacious, airy home. Everywhere you looked there was something fun to find in the eclectic decor. The kitchen was well supplied. The dining table was a great place to gather together, while the living room area, game table and deck provided spaces to get away for smaller gatherings. The two and a half baths were great. Our only disappointment was that the pond was green. We weren’t comfortable going in when couldn’t see our feet in the water. The owner was very quick with all communications

4th of July

We stayed as a family for 4th of July weekend. The location was great, very close to Belleayre and Margaretville for the carnival and fireworks. The kids loved the pond and there was a nice amount of outdoor space in the back. The kitchen sink was clogged throughout our stay which was tough do deal with because doing dishes was a challenge and the smell of the water wasn’t great as we waited for it to drain. If it happens again I would recommend trying to get a plumber in asap and not just dealing with the clog. I didn’t realize that there was no AC (completely my fault I should have paid closer attention to the listing) and it was an extremely hot weekend so that was tough in the upstairs bedrooms. I would recommend bringing a bigger fan to help with circulation upstairs and hopefully that would help, the fans downstairs worked well and kept it much cooler down there. The open floor plan downstairs was nice and there was enough room to comfortably fit two families. Overall we had a good weekend and the kids had a great time.

Birthday Weekend

This cabin in the woods was a great place to stay! We brought my mom and her friend here for a weekend to celebrate their 60th birthdays. There were separate bedrooms for everyone in our group, the cabin is beautiful and rustic and the owner was very helpful for questions and instructions. Great stay!

Amazing getaway

The property is remote, private, gorgeous and immaculately maintained. Far enough to be a getaway but close enough to use as a base for whatever plans you may have; golf, hiking, sightseeing, or just staying in and shutting off.

Wonderful house and property!

The house and property were just perfect for a weekend away with friends. We were a group of 9 and the house was so well equipped and comfortable! The decor was so fun, the beds so comfortable. We wish the weather was warmer so we could have gone swimming. But it was great fun catching frogs! Giselle was wonderful in every way. We hope to come back again!

Great secluded retreat !

Great home for our annual weekend ski trip. The home comfortably accommodated down seven adults and one teenager property was secluded it felt like a retreat. The house as well appointed with everything that we needed to enjoy the weekend including firewood and will be returning next year. The property manager it was very easy to communicate with it was very accommodating.

Relaxing ski weekend

Conveniently located as a home base for a ski weekend at Bellayre. The house was in a lovely and in a remote setting (nice and quiet) and had all of the amenities we needed and unique decor touches. Ate at nearby Peekamouse which was a real treat.

We had a lovely stay! The house was equipped with everything the listing indicated, and then some.

The house had everything we needed both inside and outside. Our pups were entertained 24-7 by the jumping frogs in the pond and the teens were happy chilling with amble space to play lawn games (we brought) and swim. The beds were super comfy and Gisele was very communicative. We hope to visit again!

Wonderful getaway

We rented the house for the weekend of Passover to celebrate with my husband, child and in-laws. Wonderful open plan house on a quiet cul-de-sac with a pond. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is a nice size and plenty of pots, pans, plates etc to use. The property is beautiful and quiet. My 10 year old spent much of her time checking out the wildlife in the pond and begging me to take a newt home. Great hiking nearby, small town 5 minutes away with liquor store, supermarket, couple shops and places to eat. The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us. Gisele, the owner, is a pleasure to interact with. We loved it so much we booked again! If she has dates available, go for it!

Perfect snowy get away

What an amazing property! It snowed while we were there and it was a winter wonderland! Very spacious and cozy at the same time. Owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We look forward to staying again!
