About Kristy and Mike Driver

We are the owners of Driver Developments, a Real Estate Company. Mike has been in Real Estate and a Managing Broker since 1985. We started managing and caring for rental properties in Summit County, Colorado and learned what travelers, vacationers and families really want and expect from the homes they rent.

We love the Fruita and Mesa County area because of it's year round cycling and outdoor activities. We moved to warm and sunny Fruita Colorado in 2002 for the year round cycling and hiking - and still we don't miss the snow! We have continued with the commitment to managing top notch properties that have the appeal to all travelers to our Fruita hometown.

Kristy and Mike Driver purchased this house in 2008

Why Kristy and Mike Driver chose Northwest

We built the Guest House in 2008 on our property for family and friends. It's so comfortable and quiet that we decided to share our home with other travelers.

We like the location best of all because of the "elbow" room to stretch out and enjoy the views. Even though the house is outside the city limits - it's just 5 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants.

What makes this house unique

The houses are surrounded by green grass all summer and makes the hot summers feel cooler. The extraordinary views of the Colorado National Monument remind us to take in the beauty every day.

Great home away from home...

  • 5 of 5

Loved the carriage house. It was very comfortable and a great place to return to everyday after our day trips to Moab, Grand Mesa, Black Canyon, Ouray and Palisades.

Great get away

  • 5 of 5

The view from the property is amazing. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay.July is very hot, but we grabbed the chairs and sat under the awning and enjoyed the view. Our dog was a little too adventurous and went in the very deep ditch/canal surrounding part of the property. Thank goodness there is a hose so we could bathe him. We spoke to the property manager who told us to drive The Grand Mesa. We did and it did not disappoint. The views were incredible and it was a nice respit from the heat. First time on the Western Slope and it was great!

Great setting! Fabulous yard for a dog.

Like being in a mini house. Top of the line amenities, Bose sound system on the Sony TV, clean nice appliances, nice walking shower. Loved the location away from the hustle and bustle, but close to grocery store and a great little coffee shop in Fruita. Definitely a favorite.

Exceeded Expectations

  • 5 of 5

Staying at the County Carriage House was a wonderful experience, and we couldn't have asked for more. The house was immaculate, and supplied with everything we needed. The pictures do not do justice to the indoor or outdoor space. Our dogs had a blast running around and investigating the huge (fenced) lawn area and pond. They loved it! Heaven for dogs and dog lovers. As an added bonus, the view of the monument was incredible. I searched a long time to find a rental that would allow three dogs (and almost gave up), and I feel that we hit the jackpot finding this place. We stayed three nights (June 24-27). Our grandson goes to Colorado Mesa, and we hope to come back next year when he graduates and stay in this property again. My husband kept saying, "You did a great job finding this place." Thanks Kristy and Mike!

Enjoyed the week

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with the property. We spent a week enjoying time with our grand kids and new great grand daughter, who live in Grand Junction. This rental allowed us all the convenience of home.

Being on the edge of town, allows for a very peaceful and quiet setting.

We enjoyed the canyon rim drive at the "Colorado National Monument" multiple times as it is so handy and the $15 fee is a great value, good for a week. Amazing beauty, and so accessible.
