We had a family reunion off season and wanted to be near a beach in a centrallocation to NY And Philadelphia. The house was perfect. We walked to the beach which is just down the block and enjoyed the cute town of Keyport which is a short drive. The house has nice linens and a good supply of kitchen items for cooking and entertaining. All in all it was perfect for us!

Great location close to the beach. Host communication was excellent. Description of the property was a bit of a stretch. There was one living room and one dining room. One of the rooms was not a true bedroom but an open space. It was a bummer we couldn't control our own temperature.

Thank you for staying with us and for the honest feedback. We're sorry the neighborhood didn't feel as comfortable as we'd like for our guests, we know Keansburg is a mixed beach town and we're always looking for ways to help guests feel more at ease during their stay. Regarding amenities, we want to make sure our listing details are fully accurate and helpful for future guests, so we'll be reviewing that. We booked this day to celebrate a wedding and it was the perfect choice. The house is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you could possibly need, and all with more than enough space to accommodate an entire bridal party getting ready for a wedding. Our host was super accommodating and responsive to our questions and concerns. I would definitely stay here again!

We are a group of four families, kids ages 5-13. We had plenty of room in this well-outfitted home. Plenty of driveway parking, large patio and backyard, plenty of room to gather in the dining room and living room. Just a short walk to Ideal Beach and quick drive to the waterpark for an afternoon activity. We picked up tasty "football" pizzas from Luigi's in Hazlet one night and lobsters at Belford Seafood Cooperative another.

Wonderful house

Beautiful home. Just a great stay. Only notes. The one bed has a missing screw and collspsed in the middle of the night. Broken dishwasher, but not a big deal. We just used paper plates. Had a super great time here visiting our family. Want to do it again next year.

Came from AZ to attend a memorial

This home was perfect for my family. There were 9 of us and plenty of room for all. We spent time on the beautifully tiled back patio with additional family visitors and it was easy to host them. All Linens were clean and fresh and the home over all very clean. Location was great and we took multiple strolls to the beach which was nearby. The host was very responsive and greeted us to explain everything. WiFi worked great and a large screen, smart TV was installed before we arrived. This place was wonderful for a large group and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Unfortunately not what is advertised

When arriving, property is under construction and should not be listed just yet. This caused high safety concern for my littles. Also, very dusty and dirty inside, no WiFi, no televisions, blood on wall, host has neighbors watching every move. Completely uncomfortable entire stay. Would not recommend staying at property until some significant changes have been made!

Property is not under construction. It is a new home. The cleaner was just there and everything was super clean. The guests left the house smelling like smoke, broke a vase and unplugged the WiFi router causing it to not work and needing a Verizon tech to come out to fix it. There are no TV’s advertised in the listing. There is no blood on the walls. I do not know any of the neighbors, they are not watching the house. I’m sorry that you didn’t have a good stay. I went above and beyond to try to accommodate your stay as best as possible addressing all of your concerns and needs.

You have to improve

Everything seemed bad from the start, the owner asked for IDs from everyone in my group (14), how were we going to send our IDs? The rules are a bit ridiculous, at the end of the stay we had to remove all the sheets from the beds and leave them on the floor, in my opinion this is a job that should be done by the cleaning lady and that's why I paid a lot of money for...I know very well Even though the owner doesn't clean the place, the person who does doesn't do their job well either. All the pillows smelled really bad and one bed had blood on the sheets. The sheets were definitely very dirty. I would never consider this house as an option again. I'm sad. The appliances didn't work. The house looks really big but the bedrooms are really small. Sorry, I thought a lot I have no qualms about leaving a bad review but I find it unfair for the price that they don't even wash the sheets.
Stayed 3 nights in Dec 2024
Response from VrboOwner on Jan 17, 2025
This guest is totally unreasonable. Everything he has to say is untrue. The township requires us to keep the ids. Because we don’t know who we are renting to. This is to protect ourselves. We have over 140/ 5 star reviews. Everybody has great things to say about the house and the hosts. We take our business very seriously and check up on everything ourselves. Please read our reviews. We are on a few different hosting sites. Our house rules are very common among seasonal rentals. Of course we wash our sheets. Why wouldn’t we? The sheets are clean and of course washed after every booking. The pillows absolutely don’t smell. The guest never complained about anything during their stay.
