Gorgeous House

This house was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We had a great time. There was a few minor issues, but overall our stay was awesome. I would recommend that the house should be kept a bit warmer, especially since its the middle of winter. The movie theater and game room was a bit cold.I will definitely return though. I love this property.

Summer 2024 Vacation

Overall nice house and property. Could use a new oven in the kitchen, fixed central air, a washer and dryer assesible for guests. Communication was also lacking/sparse. Tried reaching out for some issues we ran into but never got a response.

Beautiful house. Excellent accommodations. Gorgeous property!

The house came well equipped with all the essentials. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, etc. the house was in immaculate condition. The upstairs oven did not work, we were told prior to our arrival. The downstairs oven was in working condition. Very difficult to figure out how to work the living room tvs. Directions would be helpful. We used the fireplaces for heat, Very comfortable. Directions upon entering and leaving the house would be very helpful! Would definitely come back again!!

Beautiful house and scenery

The house was beautiful, very large and was perfect for our long weekend stay. The weather was not the best, so the game room worked out perfectly, we had a blast. Everday we were able to see deer in the yard, it's a very peaceful area and just an amazing setting. We would recommend to others. There were a few things that we experienced, in the master bath there was not hot water, but we made do seeing there were other bathrooms, in the theater room the surround speakers did not work so we listened through the projector speaker. We were only there for a short stay, so we just made it work.

Mt Airy Golf Trip

We had a great stay and enjoyed the house. Everything was clean and neat with upgraded furniture and plenty of space. The privacy made sitting outside very enjoyable also. The only issue we experienced was with the main kitchen stove/oven. We couldn’t get the oven to work at all and the stove top gas burners weren’t operating properly. We did message the owner on the first day of our stay but never got a response. However there was a second oven down stairs so we were able to work around it. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises

Beautiful Estate

We stayed in this 5-bedroom house in Gouldsboro PA June 20-23. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the House as it provided the space for an extended family to spend time together in a comfortable and amenity filled environment. As can be expected in the Poconos, there were hiking trails and lakes within a short driving distance. A number of restaurants were also within a 30 minute drive. Upon driving through the gate, we appreciated the curvy and lighted driveway which gave a sense of entering a very special property. The large house is beautiful inside and outside -- offering a brick house, with a sizeable terrace, and a grassy lawn. Inside, the home was nicely decorated with art and new furniture. Each bedroom (except for basement bunks) had an attached bathroom and a comfortable sleigh bed. The fully finished basement provided a huge a theater, bar, full kitchen, billiards, air hockey, game table, and ping pong table. This provided plenty of space for our family to enjoy during our stay. We encountered some difficulties during our stay, but we appreciate the property manager's responses and attempts to address over the three days. These included: (1) not having hot water for a couple of days; (2) lack of a listed amenity - a washer and dryer; (3) theater speakers that were not working; and (4) a refrigerator that was on a power saver setting so it was not keeping food cold. The property manager sent people to address and responded to our notes.

Terrible Communication and Rental Management

While the house itself is beautiful, the management of this rental is terrible. From the moment we arrived, it was one issue after another. There were bugs in the shower, dirty towels, and no heat downstairs, making that part of the house unusable. The oven doesn’t work unless you’re willing to go to the cold basement, and the outdoor lights don’t work, forcing us to BBQ in the dark. Also, we didn’t have access to certain rooms such as the washer/dryer. We couldn’t even wash or dry our clothes from the snow. The worst part? The host is completely unresponsive. Despite booking three months in advance and reaching out with concerns before our arrival, we received no answers until the day before check-in, when they finally gave us the door code. Communication was so terrible that I had to contact VRBO to try to reach out to them. I also tried calling the host a few times while I was at the house for other concerns, they never answer. During checking out, even though the host was nice to let us check out a little bit late for the inconvenience they put us through , I contacted the host to let them know I was leaving, they left me on read, didn’t have the decency to reply.This level of neglect and lack of communication made our stay stressful and disappointing. I strongly advise anyone considering this property to think twice and look elsewhere.
