Very friendly host! Was a perfect place to take kids so that everyone had room to play and if they just needed alone time there was a place for them to go. Everything you could have needed was there!

The home is not as pictured on Vrbo site.The home had a musty smell upon entering, sand was on floor throughout, rooms and bathrooms were cluttered with personal items, kitchen cluttered with appliances on counter,,utensils thrown in drawers, dry condiments spilled in cabinet,used sponge in sink, freezer had odor, silver tape holding TV plug into socket- fire hazard! Fire extinguisher dated 1994 ! Red foam mat in tub to stand on(disgusting), Standing vent to outside AC units noisy. baby crib had vomit on sheet, baby high chair needed cleaning. Vrbo site shows an airy and clean appearing home with counter space for personal belongings. This rental was so disappointing and host is not responding to vrbo calls and emails concerning our formal complaint

We are sorry that this guest was dissatisfied with their stay. We take cleanliness and guest comfort very seriously, which is reflected in the many 5-star reviews we have received from previous guests and guests that they came after . We respectfully disagree with the statements in this review. The home was professionally cleaned and prepared before arrival. The guests entered the property but chose to leave shortly afterward without staying overnight or using the accommodations, so they did not experience the home beyond their initial visit. Some of the comments refer to normal household items and personal touches that are visible in the home, while others do not accurately reflect the condition of the property at the time of check-in. Safety is a top priority for us, and any maintenance concerns are addressed promptly. We responded to the guest’s concerns through the appropriate VRBO channels and cooperated fully with VRBO’s review process. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our guests, and we encourage future travelers to consider the consistent positive feedback we have received from the many guests who have enjoyed staying at our property.

It’s was an easy check in. It was nice to have toys there when we arrived. The kids enjoyed new things to play with. Overall had plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 kids. The ice maker was a bonus. The hosts seemed nice. It is easy to get to OC and was nice to have the parking pass, I’d recommend using it. As far as a place for little ones, it is very cluttered so I think younger children could get into too much. With older kids it’s ask relative. We had an issue with no hot water discovered in the am Sat with no response for over 2 hours. It came on in a few hours so I messaged again so they didn’t need to respond after that. The back porch was dirty and grass needed mowed so the boys didn’t play outside at all. The counter and cabinets were full so it was difficult finding a place to put our groceries. The inside of the refrigerator and stovetop were dirty when we arrived. They have quite an issue with ants, seemed to be mainly the kitchen and living room areas. There were ant traps but I think an exterminator is needed. Overall, it was ok for a last minute stay for the weekend.

We are glad your family enjoyed the spacious home, the toys for the children, the ice maker, the easy check-in, and the Ocean City parking pass. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced. Our regular cleaning person became sick unexpectedly, and we used substitute cleaning personnel. Unfortunately, the cleaning was not completed to our usual standards, and we are addressing this with our cleaning contractor. Regarding the porch and grass, there had been recent rain and the porch was still wet. The lawn service was also scheduled shortly afterward. We apologize that the outdoor areas were not in the condition you expected. We do monitor and treat for ants and use child-conscious ant traps because many of our guests travel with young children. We are continuing to address this issue. Regarding the hot water it is 50 gallon water heater and if dishwasher and washer machine, and every one takes showers in same time That could cause , we are sorry for the delay in responding and are glad it began working again. Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us improve, and we appreciate your recommendation to other guests.

Family friendly home

We had a family re-union and stayed at Sharon's vacation home for two nights. It was a spacious home with lot's of beds enough for us. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood, about 10 minutes drive from Ocean City.

Excellent experience

The owners communication was excellent! Extremely nice and formative. Very surprised and impressed upon arrival. The house is very spacious and clean and well laid out with a great atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again!
