Welcome to Long Lake, a 211-acre all-sports lake. This 850sf cottage is sized to accommodate medium-sized family and friends' gatherings. The home features an open floor layout for the kitchen/dining/living areas. With large windows looking out onto the lake. There are three bedrooms one with a queen bed, a second with a double bed, and the third has two bunks (4 beds).
The lake is great for water sports and swimming as well! The house has a three season porch, and a two stage deck that looks out onto the lake. The hot tub is in the front of the house so you can watch the sun set as you relax in the warm water. Very pet and child friendly vacation, the stay comes with 2 kayaks as well as a floating dock great for kids to jump off of.

I really enjoyed our stay had a relaxing two days. They provide basic condiments which was helpful when I forget ketchup for burgers. It was clean and cozy a the hot tub was a much needed break.

My wife and I stayed for 6 days. Great place, fantastic hot tub, wonderful lake and a quiet neighborhood that's well suited for taking your dog on a walk. We had everything we needed for a few days away from work.

The chlorine tablet strainer in the hot tub is broken ( bottom piece missing). Other than that all good, had a great time! Thanks again.

Anniversary

It was a winter wonderland with tents set up on the ice for skilled men to ice fish. That was pretty cool. The cottage was cozy warm & such a beautiful view. Thank you for accommodating what we left behind as well.

Great Long Weekend Trip

Cute house to stay for our family’s annual fall trip to Michigan. Loved the location, the house was clean and the owners provided most of our essentials, also nicely decorated. Loved the covered porch for reading while My husband and the girls went kayaking. Corey Orchard is a must. Hot tub was a wonderful place to unwind from the day!

Cozy cabin with welcoming feel

The cabin was great - exactly what we needed: a cozy lakefront location with A/C (so we could sleep comfortably), clean towels, and clean sheets. The details provided by the owners were great: a coffee/tea station (super convenient), sharp knives for food prep, easy instructions on how to use the TV. We didn't use the amenities, simply because we were visiting the area for a family event, but the hot tub and kayaks are a real plus. The owners were very responsive whenever I had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The location and space was beautiful and we appreciated the short notice booking and the extra day that we stayed. We really did not want to travel in the ice & snow so I asked for a discount for the extra day and got denied a discount. We spent more time cleaning & insulating than anything. However, the space was dirty. Open food left in the fridge & freezer; dirty sticky shelves & doors. The toilet was yellow and soiled. Dirt on the floors. Looked like someone had just thrown together fast & vacated the space. Had to complete the hosts laundry of towels & extra bedding left in the washer & dryer before we could do our own and then the washer broke so we had no clean clothes. When I reached out about this I was told not to worry about doing their laundry…..I was worried about our laundry……it got very cold over our stay and two of our rooms did not have heat. We had to use towels to insulate the windows and door cracks and shut the rooms off for most of the weekend which was disappointing. When I reached out about the cold & what we were doing to insulate, I was told that we didn’t need to leave the faucet dripping…..couldn’t use the extra throw blankets that were provided because they were dirty and covered in hair and we didn’t have a way to wash them….swept the floors when we first arrived and swept up a ton of hair and dust and debris. We definitely left the space cleaner than it was when we arrived. Swept everything, wiped down everything. Ok stay but a lot of hassle.

Natahsa, I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with your visit. I wish you would have mentioned your concerns in one of the many messages you sent while there. Your first message was "We are toasty warm and enjoying the space. It is beautiful". I suspect the heart of your review is that you were looking for an extra day at an even more discounted rate then we provided. While I could go back through and comment on the authenticity of your pictures, I am going to let our other guests and their positive reviews do the talking for us.
