Host was great to work with, easy communication. The accommodations were great for our family groups of 6 adults and seven kids. Secluded, nice mountain view, convenient to Suwannee and nice trails.
We had an incredible time at the rising sun retreat. The accommodations were perfect for our large group. We especially loved the sauna and wraparound porch. The location is convenient to Sewanee and lots of nature and hiking. Thank you Brooke for a great trip!

Thank you for your review! Your group was wonderful to host and we'd be happy to again in the future!
This place is absolutely incredible. I suspected it would be special, but the pictures don’t do it justice. The views are spectacular, the accommodations are cozy and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. The home is charming and thoughtfully put together—it certainly doesn’t feel like a rental (in the best ways!), but rather feels as if you’re visiting a really special family property. The host was very responsive and helpful, and we will definitely be back.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The house is nice and the property feels very secluded. However, the host had double booked the tiny house on the property and didn't disclose it to me until after confirming our reservation. She wanted to keep both reservations in place. Also, the day after our trip ended the host reached out to me directly, outside of the VRBO platform, and alleged damages that simply were not true/accurate while asking me if I wanted to "resolve this directly before the claim is filed."

We appreciate your feedback. This review does not accurately reflect the property or quality of care we give. We reached out to try to offer a better deal for the documented guests. We were being over-communicative to attend to the needs of your group. There were additional guests who were unaccounted for and it resulted in damage to our home. We reached out after your stay to provide the opportunity fix the violations that occurred during your stay in order to prevent lower ratings. We stand by our commitment to clear communication and care for our guests and property.
