Good location, old unit

This place needs a good scrub. Everything is grimy. I felt like I had to wash my hands every time I touched a light switch or cabinet drawer. You can see and feel the grim. Didn’t really bother us but there are repairs that are covered up with poor workmanship that just added to the ‘Owner doesn’t care about this place’ feeling. We were happy with the location. It’s a 10 minute drive from downtown Lake Tahoe.

Get away from it all

What a great surprise this property was. Spectacular views of the lake. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. The property was quiet and the people that we did encounter were all very nice and welcoming. You are removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tahoe, but a quick drive into town. It was the perfect blend for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Close to ski shuttle

Great place to stay when going to ski in heavenly. The property is a bit dated, but it was very clean and close to everything, including the ski shuttle to Heavenly. Would stay again!

Great visit!

We loved the location of this condo! It's got a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. It has pretty much all you need for a nice, comfortable stay. This was our first visit to the Lake Tahoe area and we will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The house was cute and very clean! The area was perfect for being away from the hustle and bustle, with a great view! The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for 2 couples. If you’re going to cook, bring your own seasonings. Other than that, everything was perfect! We’d love to come back.

Excellent out-of-the-way spot for a getaway

This was a great spot to spend Labor Day weekend away from the crowds but still close enough to South Lake Tahoe to get out and do things. The condo was well-maintained and nicely stocked. We appreciated having a second bedroom and bathroom for our son. We found the mattress in the master bedroom to be a bit too soft for our liking, but overall had a wonderful stay!

Pleasant condo

We stayed here for 5 days. The condo had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and some necessary pantry items (sugar, coffee, oil, salt&pepper). It happened to be very hot the days we were there so it did get very warm in the condo during the evening (no AC), especially the smaller room, but there were fans to help cool it down. I agree with others that the condo is getting a bit rundown and could use a detailed cleaning and a few upgrades (a better tv would be nice). We were traveling with baby and in the future I would probably choose accommodations that are not on a hill with better walkability. Overall it came as described.

There was a power outage effecting all of tahoe when we arrived. The host was very accommodating in the less than ideal situation. Offered to put us up in a different place, but luckily power came back on in the late evening and it was not needed. Everything else was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, great experience!

The home was clean and had everything we needed: laundry, dishes, dishwasher, sheets, towels, fireplace, TV, wifi, comfy beds. The tub was awesome! Local BBQ spot two blocks away was awesome for dinner: Fox & the Hound. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location!

The condo is perfectly located on the crest of a mountain overlooking South Lake Tahoe! This means gorgeous sunsets in the evening and majestic daybreak views of the lake in the morning. Lake Tahoe is a quick 10 minute drive down the mountain. Plenty of hiking trails and restaurants nearby. The condo is spacious and comfortable with the amenities you would expect. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with. We would love to stay in this condo again!

Week Long Ski Vacation

I stayed with my family and friends over the holiday break and we all really enjoyed the condo. We were on the vacation to relax and ski on the mountain. I'd been going to the California side of Heavenly for well over a decade, but now I think I will stick to the Nevada side! The place was very nice and the owner very responsive, I would definitely stay here again. Details below Pros --- 1. Owner is very responsive to questions (even hand delivered the ski locker key when we couldn't find it) 2. Shuttle is very close (3 minute walk down the street) and take about 10 minutes to get to the StageCoach Lift. It is free in the winter. You can also take a shuttle into the main Stateline Gondola area ($2). 3. Very well stocked apartment (knives, 4 sets of utensils/bowls/plates, pots, pans) kitchen essentials (salt/pepper/olive oil, coffee grinder, auto-drip) 4. 2 Bathrooms! Very convenient for a two couple vacation 5. Bonus Ski Closet. There is a very large ski closet that was amazing to use when we had 4 sets of ski/boarding equipment. Cons --- These were pretty minimal, so I wouldn't even take a star off. However, they are worth noting. 1. Wifi - only available through a mobile hotspot and was very inconsistent. Sometimes we were able to stream music, sometimes not. 2. Steep Hill - As the description mentions there is a very steep hill up to the condo. This may not be an issue for most folks, but be prepared to have chains on even if the main road is clear. Also, it can be very slippery so caution is a must! It's necessary to walk down this hill to get to the shuttle. 3. Slightly weird layout to condo. The second bedroom's window looks out onto the living room and doesn't have much storage space. The main windows also look out onto a hallway (which has large windows with the views pictured). We were able to see a beautiful sunset, from the condo, but every now and then, people would walk down the hallway so we made sure to close the blinds as soon as the sun set and when we left.
