About The Owner

My wife and I live in Pine Bluff, AR and it was our life long dream to own a lake home on Lake Hamilton. We have 2 daughters in Texas, one daughter in England and a son in Little Rock and 9 grandchildren. The family reunites regularly at the home.

The Owner purchased this house in 1998

Why The Owner chose Arkansas

We chose Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, not only because it is so convenient to Pine Bluff, but also because it is so beautiful and has so many attractions.

What makes this house unique

Just getting in a party barge and riding around the lake looking at the beautiful homes. The shopping is magnificent. If you have never been to a horse race, you're missing a lot of fun. And Garvin Woodland Gardens is a must see. So we enjoy the same amenities that our guests come to Hot Springs for.

Guestbook comments from the manager

I take pleasure in helping my guests make the most of their stay. And Jerry and Fran were especially nice to work with.

Great View on Lake Hamilton

  • 4 of 5

This location worked great for our group of three couples plus additional 3 adults and 1 young child for spring break. Both sleeping and eating arrangements worked well. Property manager, Tom, was very helpful and provided good info on Hot Springs and was easy to reach when needed. Just 8 min to downtown Hot Springs. This was great time to be in Hot Springs, not hot and not too cold and small crowds. Missed the worlds shortest St Patrick's Day parade but heard it's a very well attended events. Garvin Woodland Gardens was still in full bloom.

The house was great, we had a group of 11 and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was very clean, and had a wonderful view of the lake. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

We had 9 adults and 3 children staying at the house. We had plenty of room. Tom was fantastic at welcoming us to the house and answering our questions. The house is close to a marina. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great for a family reunion

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 12 adults and one toddler ranging in age from 2 to 92 stayed here for one week. We required a home in which the three great-grandparents would not need to go up or down any stairs. They had bedrooms on the main floor with easy access to the kitchen, eating areas, and living rooms. Best of all was the sunroom from which there were beautiful views of the lake. They spent most of their time in there each day in comfortable chairs and a sofa, and I was able to keep an eye on them if I was cooking in the kitchen. They were able to look down at the lake to see some of us swimming. We cooked all but one meal at the house, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more! We also enjoyed grilling outside. We had two cousins staying at a time share on Central Ave. in Hot Springs, and they joined us each night for dinner. We had plenty of room for everyone by using the card table as well as the main dining table. We used all the beds as well as the day bed, and everyone was very comfortable. The water pressure was great in the shower, and we had plenty of hot water. The neighborhood is quiet, and the lake seemed very quiet and calm as well. It was a easy drive into Hot Springs and to grocery stores. This was our first time renting through Homeaway, and Tom was very easy to work with and responsive to all my questions. It was nice to meet him upon our arrival, and it was good to know that he was available if we needed him, but we did not have any issues during the week which required any assistance. We all felt that staying at the house worked out quite well for all our needs and was a good value. If we were to do this trip again, we would definitely return to this house.
