About The Owner

My wife and I live in Pine Bluff, AR and it was our life long dream to own a lake home on Lake Hamilton. We have 2 daughters in Texas, one daughter in England and a son in Little Rock and 9 grandchildren. The family reunites regularly at the home.

The Owner purchased this house in 1998

Why The Owner chose Hot Springs

We chose Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, not only because it is so convenient to Pine Bluff, but also because it is so beautiful and has so many attractions.

What makes this house unique

Just getting in a party barge and riding around the lake looking at the beautiful homes. The shopping is magnificent. If you have never been to a horse race, you're missing a lot of fun. And Garvin Woodland Gardens is a must see. So we enjoy the same amenities that our guests come to Hot Springs for.

Guestbook comments from the manager

I take pleasure in helping my guests make the most of their stay. And Jerry and Fran were especially nice to work with.

A Little Slice of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for my wife's family to be together for the Thanksgiving holidays. The first thing you see when you walk in is a wide-open room with a fantastic view! The two upper living and dining areas are all adjoined - perfect for entertaining large crowds (we had 12). I can't say enough about the 180-degree view of the lake from above - simply fantastic! The house is well-stocked with every possible amenity, and fixing a holiday feast was easy. The granddaughters even caught fish from the dock. The stairs down to the lake were a bit of a challenge (for some of us), but well worth it for the view from above. The cable service does not have an on-screen menu (that I could find) so bring a local TV guide. Everything else about the house was absolutely perfect! Property manager Tom (next door) was a big help in getting us set up and answering any of our questions - what a great guy! We could not have picked a better spot to have our family get-together. We all loved it! Joe D., Azle TX

Wonderful get away home!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 10 (7 adults, 3 children) enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. We spent 2 days doing the touristy spots in Hot Springs then had a fun day on the lake. Thanks for sharing your home.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. Everything we needed was available and if not I am super positive Tom( who lives next door) would have helped! He is a great asset to this house! The house and bedroom layout was great. The yard is pretty steep back to the lake so may have to keep that in mind with any real young Or elderly guests, but other than that great place to relax and breathe deep on the lake:)

plan to return next year

  • 5 of 5

Spent four nights. We had a house full including four children under the age of 4 years. The little boys were thrilled to find the toy box and the trucks that make noise. We also appreciated having the children’s life vests available. Be careful on the stairs that go to the lower level. They are steep but there is a hand rail. Likewise with the stairs that go down to lake. And boy do our children and grands love that lake! The large washer and dryer are great. The kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked all of our meals there. Owners live next door and are easy to work with. Wi-fi works great but you might want to check on the password. It is a tad different than is noted on the paper taped onto the desktop computer. You can easily park 6 (maybe 7) cars in driveway. You cannot park on the road. We are already making plans to meet there next year too.
