This lake cottage was everything and more! The cottage was clean and very well stocked with everything you could need. Our family enjoyed a much needed long weekend in the Finger Lakes Region! The host really thought of everything and let a special treat for our arrival. He was very responsive and checked in to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We spent a lot of time using the kayaks on the lake. This is a fantastic lake cottage!

Nice spot near a plant nursery and many nooks and crannies in the area. Very close to SUNY Cortland and suited our needs for the event we were attending there. This place would be AMAZING to visit in the fall - the views are gorgeous!

The host was very welcoming and had a hot chocolate station setup for us that was a big hit with the family. Amenities were great and location was centrally located for our plans. I would love to see the cottage in the summer time.

This is a lovely setting on the lake . Quiet and serene The home is nicely & thoughtfully furnished with everything you need while traveling . Host was very communicative Bagels and Cookies provided by host was a nice xtra touch Would definitely stay here again

This was a great stay for our family. The lake was beautiful. The host left. good suggestions and really thought about everything. Pros: The communication with the host was outstanding. The quality of the kitchen was outstanding. My wife really loved the bed upstairs. The amenity is like the kayaking, the fire pit and the TVs were spot on. Cons: There really wasn't a pantry space for storing things in the kitchen. so longer stays may be challenging. Temperature control upstairs was not the easiest to maintain. We stayed at another place on another lake and my family. wish we would have stayed the whole time here. We would definitely rent it again

Long weekend for a college graduation

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the house very much and I truly appreciated the host’s attention to detail.. it felt like we were staying with a friend! The host was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations. The location was wonderful for us. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would love to rerun!

Lake cottage

Very clean. Owner thought of everything. Nice deck. Master bedroom is awesome. We fell in love with the area. Great scenic drives, hiking, biking, golf, restaurants. Peaceful lake atmosphere .

Perfect Lake Cottage

I was so impressed by all of the amenities this Lake cottage had to offer! James was so easy to communicate with and made our stay extra special with the smores basket and breakfast supplies he had waiting for us! The views from every room are to die for and the fact that there were four kayaks available for our family to use made it possible for us all to enjoy the beauty of the lake together. We will undoubtedly be returning next year!

Restful house with great deck

Our visit was quiet and calming, just what we hoped for. The house is nicely decorated and provides all the amenities that we needed. It’s right on the lake and has a nice large deck. The setting is very country, but there are a few places to visit. We went to a country store that had food and other necessities, a rather large plant store, and Bob’s barbecue, which was excellent. The hosts were readily accessible. In the summer, this would be a fun place for a family visit. In the fall, it provided us with a peaceful getaway.

I made this reservation for family members coming into town for a memorial service. Before their arrival, I contacted the host about the possibility of checking in early as they were driving from Tennessee with two kids. He was very responsive and accommodating. He even set up the pull out beds after I told him my nephew and family would be traveling overnight. Directions for accessing the property were clear and thorough.The property is very charming and worked well for our purposes. I like the way the downstairs is arranged into several separate areas (living/tv room with sliding doors onto a deck), a small dining/sitting room with windows with lake views on the two exterior walls, and a central office/sitting area that is central to the dining area and to the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you could need. Because we were traveling with children, it was nice to have space where adults could have conversations while the kids played. Speaking of playing, the board games were a big hit! We played so many games of checkers. The upstairs rooms are quiet so some members of the family could get some rest and privacy while others were still visiting. We really enjoyed our stay. We're already considering the possibility of staying here on our next visit this summer.Thank you for a great stay during a difficult time.
