We went for a weekend for a girls trip. The place was perfect for our group of 3. First the house is very clean which I absolutely need. The pool area nice to hangout in after the beach. The kitchen was well stocked but we didn’t use it that much. The house is located in a great location close to everything. The beds were comfy and it was very quiet at night. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location. We did have an issue with the garage door not working properly, but the host stayed in contact to let us know what to do. The home is very close to the beach. Tybee was a lovely place. Highly recommend this rental.

The house is in a perfect location just steps from the beach. Check in was very smooth and there are detailed instructions throughout the house. We enjoyed our time sitting on the front deck and relaxing in the pool. Our only concerns were a lack of beach towels (we came from Michigan so tough to pack those along); this is something we have had at other beach properties and think it should really be standard. Each room only had one set of bath towels, for some of us that was not an issue, for others that prefer to not reuse towels it would have been nice to have at least one additional set. The weather was not too warm, which was fortunate since we were unable to set the AC lower than 72 even though instructions said it could go to 70. In hotter months, restricting AC to even 70 is a bit rough as some like it much cooler to sleep. Overall, great property, and none of these things were a deal breaker. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Family Trip to Tybee

This was our second trip to Tybee Island. As the kids get older, we’ve been needing more space and this ewe perfect! Loved the private pool. The home was SO clean, and a very close walk to the beach. We will be back!!

There was more than enough room for our family and the kids were excited to have their own room. The pool was one of our favorite places besides the beach. We spent most of the day in the pool and at the beach. The covered porch was an added bonus and we utilized that a lot during our stay. My biggest thing in renting places is how clean there are, I have no complaints, it was very clean and up to date. I loved the bathroom in the garage area, it made it so much easier then tracking in water and sand upstairs to use the bathroom. I would love to return and stay in this house again. The location to the beach couldn’t have been better either ! Thank you so much for letting us stay here!

Amazing Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had everything we needed. The house is very open and spacious. Plenty of bathrooms, plus one in the garage making it easy assess for when in the pool. The house is beautifully decorated and the porch has the most patriotic lights. There is a string light display behind the tv in the shape of the flag and then tube lights around the porch of red, white and blue lights. We loved plugging in the lights at night and watching tv on the porch. It was nice being able to watch college football on the porch and still enjoy being outdoors and hearing the waves. The bedrooms were amazing and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Salt, pepper, toaster, all types of utensils and pots and pans if you plan on cooking (we didn't). The house comes with multiple beach chairs and a wagon to haul all the equipment to the beach (so handy). The pool was actually bigger than I thought it would be from looking at the pictures. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool area as well and was nice to have a shower at the pool to wash off when returning from the beach. We did have a little trouble trying to figure out the instructions on the key entry for the garage and door but finally figured it out. Our family so enjoyed our vacation at the Sixth Street Retreat and highly recommend it to all.
