Country House Condo #50 has it all! The kids (and you) will love the proximity to the new Lodge Recreation area, where they can swim, play tennis, canoe, climb the rock wall, take part in the Rec Barn activities, or grab a snack. You will love your morning espresso at the Lakeside Bistro with your favorite morning paper, lunch in the Lodge Restaurant, or cocktails in the Lounge overlooking sunsets on Lake Phalarope with the Three Sisters Mountains as a backdrop.

The condo is a spacious 1,731 square feet, equal to many homes at Black Butte. The great room living area is open to the dining room and kitchen and has views from all the rooms. The galley kitchen is well-equipped and has lots of counter space and newer appliances. There is a 1/2 bath off the kitchen area. The dining room is spacious with seating for 8 and opens to a large deck with a dining area for those evening BBQ's.

The living area is large and comfortable with a wood-burning fireplace and solarium seating area, great for a game area.

The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a large bedroom with a king bed on the 2nd floor and a room with a set of bunks and a twin bed, which share a bath. The third floor is a king made up of two twins with its own bath plus a twin and trundle for an extra sleeping area. All the bedrooms have amazing views. You can start your morning viewing the amazing Black Butte Ranch scenery from your bed!

Air conditioning and wireless internet are other features you will love about this condo. This is a great spot for you and your family or extended family to enjoy all the wonderful amenities of Black Butte Ranch.

PLEASE NOTE: DURING JULY AND AUGUST there is a 7 night minimum on most properties and there is a specific turn day, i.e Saturday for most condos. If you wish to deviate from the schedule or are having difficulty booking on-line, please call Howells Property Management at x2 for assistance.

We really enjoyed our stay at CHC #50, this condo has very spacious bedrooms, and updated bathrooms. The location is ideal, as just a quick walk to the lodge, restaurants, and hot tub. And the views are absolutely gorgeous.

Accommodating for 2 families of 4 but dirty home

This house was perfect for two families wanting shared space and their own space. I was very dissapointed to find the house quite dusty and dirty. It needed a solid once over before we felt comfortable unpacking. Dead flies and bees everywhere. Cob webs and a thick coat of dust. Crumbs etc. I hope the cleanliness factor can be remedied because otherwise it was fabulous and well appointed! The view was astronomical!!! Also be prepared to pay $8/person at the welcome center per day for resort fees. This isn't a few we were aware of ahead of time and dissapointed to pay as we felt the rate was a bit high to begin with for the cleanliness of the home.

Great spot in black butte

Our family has enjoyed many visits to this condo. It's nicely updated, stocked with good linens, kitchen wares, BBQ, etc. The views of the snowcapped mountains are fantastic, and the home is filled light, something you don't get from other single family homes in BBR that are tucked into the trees. This place is a nice layout for 1 or 2 small families, or even bring the grandparents. We plan to go back over and over. And the property management company is professional and super helpful.

Unit was not cleaned very well, the heat quit working day 2. The fire place was not stocked with wood, and there were no matches.

The beds were still made up with summer quilts all of the comforters were locked up, I had to take bed spreads from other rooms to stay warm, I love the location and am a long time visitor.

I was snowed in for 3 days as property management did not come to clear the paths or parking lot, finally had to dig my self out to get firewood.

Owner's Response: We were disappointed with Karen's review. She changed her arrival date several times and unfortunately came during our worst snowstorm of the season. There were cars off the road and the owner of the company wouldn't allow any of the property managers to go the Ranch. Ranch Maintenance, who is responsible for plowing the walkways and parking lots of the condo area was way behind just trying to get the main roads passable. One of our property managers was in contact with Karen each day, sometimes more than once and offered to have her husband drive out to the condo to be of assistance. Karen refused assistance each time and said she was fine, and that she was getting her exercise. She also stated that she had friends at the Ranch who could help her. It turned out that two the Ranch's maintenance men assisted her with the wood and shoveling when they had some time. She never said anything about the condo not being clean. We are very sorry that the circumstances were beyond our control during her days here of extreme weather. If Karen would like to return sometime with us, I'm sure we could make it up to her.
