This 1963 four-season Chalet is one of the original homes built right on the trails of Sugarbush. You will enjoy a historic yet modernly furnished and immaculately maintained home. Soak in views of the mountain beside the wood stove or boot-up in the mudroom and walk down the road to where you can access the trail. Ski home for lunch or to celebrate a great day in classic après style.
Perfect for spring skiing, summer swimming/biking, and autumn leaf-peeping.
The house has an open floor plan on the top floor with spectacular views of the ski resort and of the Sugarbush Valley. The primary bedroom is on the first floor with a bathroom. The lower level has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.
2 bedrooms comfortably sleep 2 adults each. The 3rd bedroom has 2 bunkbeds with 4 twin mattresses better suited for children, but adults can certainly sleep there too.
The house is directly on a ski trail called Village Run, which is a natural snow trail. It's one of the original 20 built in the early 60's and has a classic feel to it. But it's also been through a full remodeling of everything, with new furniture throughout.

Wonderful retreat in a great location for exploring this area of VT. It has been beautifully renovated, all the rooms are generously sized. The host was super quick to respond to all of my messages.
First time visiting Sugarbush! We had a great time. The house was very cozy and comfortable for our two families. The ski in/ ski out was a little confusing but then got the lay of the land and figured it out. The host was super great communicating where to go and recommend restaurants.
We stayed Oct 4 -11th. Everything was great! Very beautiful area. Jack was very responsive. He was very quick to reply to any questions we had. We were not there during skiing season so I can’t comment on that. But no complaints at all. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We had a great time at this property. It was a wonderful location. We felt like we were in a luxurious treehouse with a view. All the sliding glass doors really helped with cooling off in the heat of the day. Comfy beds and everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
Everything about the house itself was great, including the kitchen, bedrooms, and splendid mountain views. My only complaint is about the "ski-in ski-out" designation. That usually means the house or condo unit is located next to the ski slopes, so you don't need to walk very far or drive to the base of the mountain to access the lifts. That was impossible during our stay. The only way to get to the lifts was to walk hundreds of yards over muddy roads and fields, or drive down to the main lodge where the close parking lots were full. I was will to pay 5,000 for a week because I believed the place was truly ski-in / ski out. If I knew I would have to drive to the slopes, I could have gotten a comparably sized rental house nearby (in Waitsfield, Warren, etc.) for a lot less money

Theodore, it's unfortunate that the very warm weather during your stay resulted in the two ski on/off trails being inaccessible and the road being muddy during your stay. I appreciate your staying at our Chalet and hope that you otherwise had a great trip.
We enjoyed our stay over the holiday. We were fortunate it snowed before our arrival, making it easy to ski both on and off with young children. It was less than a 5 min walk both on and off to a green slope. Without natural snow would not have been possible. House was beautiful and had more than enough room for 4 adults and 4 children. Nice selection of games for the children. Thx again!
We had a fantastic stay! The location was ideal—ski-in access when there was natural snow, and just a short drive to the slopes otherwise. The views were stunning, with beautiful sights of the ski runs and distant mountains. The chalet was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with quality towels, linens, and toiletries. After a full day on the mountain, we really enjoyed sinking into the incredibly comfortable sofa and watching our favorite shows on the large screen TV.Our teenage boys loved it, and we truly appreciated having such a warm, cozy space to cook, unwind, and spend time together—especially on the days when the ski conditions weren’t perfect. The only thing we’d suggest is adding a few full-sized cereal bowls to the kitchen, but otherwise, it was perfectly equipped. We’d absolutely love to return!
August 2025, Thank you Jack,Great stay in the Green Mountains in Warren VT.Your Sugarbush Chalet is a wonderful place. We were 4 couples and enjoyed being in the treetops, great privacy and views of the mountain ski trails. Kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking necessities and space for group meal prep. Weber gas grill perfect. Dinning room table plenty of space for 8 adults. And comfortable living room to spread out.We enjoyed the mountain breezes from the deck.Rooms and beds were comfortable. 1 couple got the 2 lower bunk beds, a little bit tight, but they were happy and comfortable. We had a Warren Falls swimming hole adventure and soak in the cool river pool. (5 min. walk from parking lot, and crossing the river was a bit challenging for one of our group, but all had a great experience.) Breakfast at Toast and Eggs in Waitsield. We hope to stay at your place again in the future.M
