Everything was perfect! We had a great time and the property/house was beautiful and clean. There was even a cast iron pan to use! No room for improvement. Thank you so much!
Lovely place for 2 or 6 people- spacious, clean and they have anything you would need! Beautiful setting! If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it!! You won’t regret it!!!
The inside of the house was beautiful, and exceeded our expectations! There was even two, friendly, neighborhood dogs that hung out with us at the cabin. The exterior of the cabin could use a little TLC. The landscaping was overgrown, and the patio furniture could use a good cleaning. Overall, a great experience, though!
The home is comfy and spacious. We really enjoyed the openness of it all. Unfortunately, not all of the lights work outside, so you would need to start your fire early. We were unable to use the hot tub because it wasn’t sanitary. It definitely needs cleaned. It’s a nice place if you’re going to stay indoors. The neighbor dogs Max and Milo are the sweetest. We loved them and would go back if the things listed were fixed.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Shower didnt work, trap clogged in master bath, TONS of pine needles on all outside furniture. Dirty cushions on patio furniture.
Host was responsive. Place needs TLC.Clogged sink in master bathroom Hot tub water level very low so we’re unable to use. Only 3 bulbs working on light strands on patio making it very dark. Outdoor furniture in really poor shape.Four wine coolers sitting on the screened in back porch with the door open when we arrived.Blinds broken on master br door
For how much the cleaning fee is the place was ran down and dirty. The screened in area with projector was not usable in any way. Maggots in the sink welcomed us with a very disgusting smell in the kitchen. The hot tub was Luke warm at best. Not worth the money but the area (Hocking Hills State Park) is beautiful.
Needs someone to check on the place! Outdoor area was awful. Replace lights, cushions, no screen in screen door. Waited an hour after our designated time for access code after texting all day for it. Owner had several excuses for not getting information to us. Missed dinner reservation because of this. Avoid if you like to spend time outside. Fence in bad shape and two dogs trying to get in. They never left the porch!

Hello. Thank you for the feedback. We greatly value this. There were multiple emails sent to your personal email about access information, additionally VRBO supplies that to you as well. In the listing it mentioned the neighbor dogs that will 100% be visiting. There’s also a gate that you can close to keep them off the property (of which you were very aware). It had rained right before your stay so naturally the outside space was wet, that’s out of our control. I’m not sure which screen door you’re referring to that didn’t have a screen, because it’s a glass screen door. These reviews impact businesses. Maybe next time you can check your email, log into the VRBO app and not call the owner when you arrive and yell at them because you didn’t prepare for your trip at all. You were the worst guest we’ve ever had stay and you were only with us for 1 night.
The helpful hint of the road to take the road named Amerine Rd. You avoid St Rt. 56 the road we took says "Wayne Amerine Rd" that takes you the correct way for those not from around there and may get confused. Max and Milo the neighbors dogs are super cute and friendly.. our kids enjoyed playing with them and loved whenever we pulled in Milo would come running to see them. The cabin is super beautiful and was very clean. The hot tub was great as well. Didn't get to use the fire pit outside as mother nature had other plans but very nice lay out. There's multiple hiking attractions within 30min drive. Lake Logan to swim is also not super far away and the beach there was very nice as well. We are not from the area and thought the views and scenery and being further out was beautiful and very serene. The central air was nice as well as the breeze in the sunroom. Definitely will be going back there.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The biggest issue I had with this listing is that the barn door for the main bathroom often came off the track and was a major safety concern. This is the main reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 4. The barn door also didn’t easily close all the way. Smaller things include almost all of the living room lights being burned out, not being able to use the hot water in both showers at one, the en suite bathroom sink to the master bedroom was very slow to drain and would fill with water, the main bathroom sink had almost no water flow, most of the faucets including showers seem to have mineral build up, there was a locked door in the spare room that had a light on that would shine through the cracks of the door and we couldn’t turn it on, the AC unit is very loud, there were broken chairs for the fire pit, there was no drying rack for washing dishes and also not enough hand towels, and no mention that the grill was charcoal only. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub so can’t speak on that. The place was very clean. Beds were very firm could be a pro or con. Love all the movies and games available. The hostess was very responsive in communication and very accommodating. We loved how secluded the location was and would love to come back again if the barn door was fixed.
