This picturesque log cabin in a wooded hilltop setting is perfect for two couples and their dogs - with two queen beds, two full baths, wood-burning fireplace, private hot tub, charcoal grill, fire pit, covered deck with porch swing, satellite tv and DVD player. Pet friendly (2 pet limit with $50+tax pet fee).
INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace, grill and firepit; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; satellite tv with dvd player; bed, bath and kitchen linens; bath soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper and trash bags; access to the Chalets Resort pool at the Chalets Old Man's Cave location; central air conditioning and heat. Weekend hiking at Hocking Hills

Second year in a row we stayed here. Owner made some upgrades, one of which was a comment I had left last year, so you know they are listening and want your stay to be great.

Love this cabin!

Great Location

Great location for visiting the park and hiking and only about 25 minutes to Logan. The host was very responsive when we called and they called us to let us know we could check in early. The cabin is a little older with scratched up and squeaky floors, but that was fine with us. Overall, we would recommend this cabin as it was quiet and comfortable, yet convenient for hiking and exploring.

Great stay.

Cabin was clean and cozy. Just as advertised. It was a lot closer to the road than anticipated, but road was not well traveled. Enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire pit.

Clean and peaceful

My daughters and I stayed at Timber Ridge for two nights and wish we could have stayed another two nights. The property is perfect! The neighbors had a raging party out first night so that was disrupting but no fault of the host. The well water was a little stinky (but safe to drink) so I would suggest bringing some. Other than that, we would highly recommend staying here!

Quick Weekend Retreat

Overall, we had a nice stay. We brought plenty of food to make several meals while we there and would like to have had more amenities in the kitchen. Also, there was no dishwasher and no garbage disposal which made clean up more challenging.

The property is beautifully located in a quiet area. The drive to all our destinations was easy as well, enjoyed the relaxing hot tub after a day of hiking and exploring. Was a little disappointed in the lack of cleaning supplies in case we needed more that a wipe down. I have also in the past brought cooking supplies there- I have used spices or oils that are there to cook our meals on sight. Not really an option here except to throw it on the grill-definitely a place worth staying at. Beautiful cabin with comfortable living space and nicely secluded

A beautiful and peaceful location close to lots of attractions.

This was a perfect rental for us. Private and quiet for our much needed vacation, yet close enough to all the sites and attractions on our to-do list. We definitely recommend!

Deep woods sojourn

This property was perfect for us. I think the time of year was great since there were no bugs and not too many people overall. Being able to walk into restaurants with very little wait was great. We would have stayed much longer but price for just two people was a bit too hefty. Hope we can return next year for a longer stay.

Porch was great but there was more road traffic than in prior years. Also someone at another cabin brought a karaoke machine with speakers and was annoying to hear them.

Short Anniversary Getaway

We liked the location and quietness of the cabin. It was very clean and suited our needs. It had a very warm, at home feel. However, we were disappointed with the check in time (4PM) very late in day plus not given address until 15 minutes prior. Given that we could not access WiFi due to area, we had to stop at office to get directions adding yet more time which we had little of. At this price point, we were surprised it did not have more bath amenities (lotions, hair dryer, etc.), we had to bring towels for the hot tub and there was no washer and dryer to dry them before packing them. It also had very little kitchen items such as we had to bring our own paper towels and napkins. Again, at this price point and having stayed at many other cabin rentals, we have never had to bring such items. Overall, we would give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Perfect stay

The cabin was super adorable and clean! It was remote and close to all of the hocking hills attractions. We enjoyed our days hiking and then back at the cabin in the evening to cook dinner, have a drink by the fire and relax in the hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. Plus our pups felt right at home!

Great cabin in the woods!

This was a cozy cabin and a loft that was great for the two of us! Bathrooms were very clean and we had comfortable beds too. There is a swing on the back porch that enjoyed in the evenings. It’s close to Hocking Hills State Park for great hiking!
