All types of parties or events are not allowed and are defined as any gathering that exceeds the property's occupancy limit as described in the contract.

Linens/Towels: Linens & Towels are not provided. Pillows and comforters are provided. Please inquire about a package available for $225.00 purchase. We believe in giving you a choice.

***Dogs.....we do accept 1 dog on a case by case review. The cost is $200. Please include information on your request about your dog. Breed, weight and age would be appreciated

House with privacy! Inside is all pine, hemlock, bamboo, hickory and tile. Beds are custom made from Vermont pine and cedar. Dinning room table is custom made from thick pine and cedar legs. Tiki bar is centered in the great room. Multiple covered and uncovered decks with lake view. If your looking for an upscale waterfront vacation home you should check out our pictures.

This North Hero vacation oriented waterfront home is located at the end of a private road. Large back yard with multiple apple trees and open space.

Pro-Bass Fishermen, this is where you want to be. Some of the frequently visited hot spots are along our property shoreline and multiple others close by. Dock power available! No need to drag your boat out at night!

The house was designed inside to look like a post & beam home. The walls & ceilings are all pine boards. Large beams encompass the great room, kitchen, porch & covered deck. The great room has a tiki bar and custom made pine dinning room table with cedar legs.

Floors are done in bamboo, wide pine boards, slate tile & old wood design tile.

A private beached with a gradual slope.

The Boat launch is a shared country boat launch on the property. Floating dock for your vessel or too fish or just hang out on!

Power is available at the shoreline to charge your trolling motors.

Boat Launch on property!

The useability is based upon Lake condtions, size of your boat, trailer and vehicle used for the launch.

Plenty of room to store your boat trailer.

If you are looking to fish from shore you will find a plentiful supply of sunfish, perch, rock bass, crappies and an occasional bass or northern. For those looking to kayak or canoe the area is nicely protected from the wind and wildlife is plentiful!

If your looking to take your boat to breakfast, lunch or dinner there are restaurants on the water. There are also two marinas close by.

If your seeking a family vacation with lots of outside space or a fishing trip with your friends this is where you want to be!

Wonderful Vacation Property

Mary and Larry have created a lovely lakefront vacation property. The house is spacious and well-appointed, and worked perfectly for our group. We loved the large deck and especially appreciated the covered section that let us be outside even when it rained. We will be back!

Amazing camp

We loved everything about the camp and grounds. Our only disappointment was that you are not allowed to have more than 2 day guests. We were hoping for a family barbeque for relatives who live in the area.

We do allow two day guest as you mention. This allows 10 people on the property. With this property being one of the premiere properties in the area, there would be a constant crowd of people at the property if we didn’t have this policy. Some folks choose to rent both properties we have to allow for more family to be together. Appreciate your business! Hope to see you again!

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Lake Champlain. The sun rises and sun sets were incredible. The fishing was great and the lake was warm enough for swimming. The owner of the property was gracious and cordial. The home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family/group.

Beautiful property and home!

I stayed here with my family for a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The views of the lake are far more beautiful than the pictures show! The property is gorgeous, and the home is clean with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the dock area and deck most of all. The homeowners were communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and host.

Another great week at North Hero.

The house is great. Rooms spacious. The kitchen, dining, & relax area are on1 floor. Comfortable bedrooms are below and quite lovely. There is a bunk room on the 3rd floor, but we didn't have children with us on this trip.

Great House on the Lake

This home is spacious and quiet with all the amenities. It is located on the lake with few other houses. We spent much of our time on the large decks watching the lake and the ever changing sky. The house itself has good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen that opens onto a dinning/living room. There is a cute bar set up in the living room as well. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and biking. We fully recommend this home & location for a lovely Lake Champlain get away.

Paradise on the lake!!!

So much more that we expected!! The house has so much space, great location, beautiful views and property. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and a large pantry to store the essentials. The showers had great water pressure which is always a plus. The bar area added a nice space to serve drinks of your choice! Larry and Mary were wonderful to deal with and very responsive . We will definitely be looking to go back!!

As Good as it Gets

You know those vacation properties where you get there and the house isn't half as nice as the pictures looked? Or the grill doesn't work and the owner is nowhere to be found? Well this is definitely NOT that property! The house was amazing, every bit as beautiful as the photos, the location perfect, and the owners made themselves available throughout the booking and our stay to answer all.of our questions. WE RENTED BOTH HOUSES, HAD 11 MEN FOR 4 DAYS FOLLOWED BY 4 COUPLES FOR THE REMAINING 3 DAYS AND BETWEEN BOTH HOMES THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND HAVING A BOAT RAMP ON PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT AND GOOD DOCKS. WE WILL BE RETURNING FOR SURE! THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THE AC IN THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM WOULD NOT KEEP UP, COULDN'T GET IT BELOW 81 DEGREES SO NO ONE COULD SLEEP UPSTAIRS.

Todd, Thanks for the input! Appreciate you letting us know about the AC unit that had failed. It was replaced with a new oversized capacity AC unit. The dock and boat launch does add a great enhancement to the property. There are few properties that offer this in town.

What a great lake house!

We have stayed at a lot of places on HomeAway and this was one of the best so far. The location is beautiful and the only noise you ever hear are boats going past the house. The house is very spacious, everything is in great shape and very clean. All the bedrooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The walk in pantry is also very nice. My favorite part of the house was the deck over looking the lake. In the morning we loved sitting out on the deck reading and drinking our coffee and watching the boats go by, at dinner time we grilled out on the deck, and at the end of the day watched the sunsets. The wood dock was very nice and the location was very good for fishing. We made a day trip to Montreal which was a lot of fun and spent a lot of time out on our boat fishing and water skiing. We drove our boat to the Steamship Pier (North Hero House) and had a very nice lunch one day. Great place to spend a week with the family!

What a view!!

We arrived with Larry helping direct us to get the boats in the water. His wife stopped by midweek to make sure the internet was working okay, another property had an issue. There was a wonderfully thoughtful welcome basket with snacks. Every bed room is huge. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need to cook all of your meals. The beds are very comfortable. The house is all wood inside, so noise carries, but we ran the window ac on fan only to help lessen the noise when sleeping. We loved having a washer and dryer to use. There were 8 of us, 4 couples. We never felt too close. There is so much room. We loved having a boat ramp and dock on property. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week!!

Mary is a retired school teacher. I'm a retired airline pilot who flew B-787, DC-10, B-767, B757, B727 & MD80 in the USA, Caribbean, Central & South America, Pacific and Atlantic routes.

I'm also an avid Sea Plane pilot and own one. We explore remote locations and waterfront lodges and restaurants with it.

We also enjoy boating on Lake Champlain and the Gulf Coast of Florida.
