Timber Wolf Lodge is a great place to stay - really comfortable and cozy. We were there in winter and it was perfect despite snow and single digit temperatures outside.
Cozy, comfortable and clean cabin for a midweek getaway
Timberwolf Lodge was a fantastic location for a midwinter escape. We enjoyed a spacious kitchen and living room and nice bedrooms with amenities. Our group appreciated how clean everything was especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The host was very responsive and helpful when we asked for anything. We would love to return!
We stayed in here in late March, off season for this location, for a long weekend. We didn't realize everything in Wisconsin would still be frozen and covered in snow, but it was and it was beautiful anyway. Most of the nearby establishments were closed for the season so we just spent most of our time relaxing in the cabin. The cabin was spacious and clean and very comfortable.
We come to the area several times a year to visit family and enjoy the beauty that is northern Wisconsin. We decided a bit last minute to find something in the area and came across this listing. Had some communication with Jim and he was very accommodating. I like that we could clean up ourselves and not be charged an outrageous cleaning fee like some other places—if you are a relatively clean renter you will have no issues. Would stay again
All was great. My only issue was that I couldn't figure out the TV. So I thought "this is great, now I can get some reading done". Unfortunately, the nighttime lighting was not very good. Brighter lights would've been nice.
We had a great time here. The kids loves it and enjoyed it very much.
We had a great time here. The kids loves it and enjoyed it very much. The place is really cozy and perfect for my little family. We really enjoyed our time there.
Clean, well maintained cabin within a grouping of other cabins by the lake. Setup was nice and would easily handle a family of four. Big kitchen and dining area with one bed/bath downstairs and one bed/bath upstairs in loft. Somewhat basic/no frills, but that was perfect for me. Had a very enjoyable stay.
We went during the week and was a peaceful stay with colors still around to see. Very nice accommodations and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet Northwoods Lake stay.
This property is exactly as shown on line. Two nice size bedrooms and 2 very roomy bathrooms. Fireplace was wonderful on the chilly days, and had a water view. Will stay again.
Google maps is not accurate. They will have you turn before the resort road. Turn by Gutbrod's A Lot of Lakes Resort sign which is Woods & Water Lane. Cabin is as described. Gas fireplace will heat the entire cabin. Nest thermostat to adjust as you need it. You need to bring all towels (kitchen, bath etc.). Sheets & blankets were provided. We brought along our own pillows. Glad we did as pillows supplied are on the flatter side. Beautiful sunsets. Jim was available when needed. Enjoyed our stay.
We've stayed at several cabins in Wisconsin's north woods over the years, and this is one of the best. Great views and convenient boat access to all of the lakes on the chain. The cabin was very well-stocked and clean.
